About the Business
His House Thrift Shop, located at 4357 Augusta Road in Lexington, South Carolina, is more than just a store - it's a place where lives are changed. Founded by Rev. Garland Ramsey in 1974, this institution takes discarded items and uses them to help homeless and alcoholic men through their Grace Men's Program. With no government funding, His House Ministries relies on donations and the sale of gently used items in their thrift stores to support their activities.
The institution also offers spiritual development programs, including Eternity Bible School and Christian Movie Nights for men. The Grace Men's Program provides residential rehabilitation for recovering alcoholic men in a Christian environment, with participants committing to a minimum stay of 90 days. Housing, clothing, food, and rehabilitation services are provided at no cost to the participants.
If you would like to support His House Ministries, consider donating gently used items to their thrift stores or attending their Open Air Chapel outreach ministry at the Metro 1 Flea Market. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of those in need. Visit His House Thrift Shop today and be a part of changing lives for the better.

"Love this thrift store. Probably one of my favorites in the area. If you buy larger pieces they will help you load it into your vehicle. They also can temporarily hold some pieces once purchased if you need to get a bigger vehicle. Staff is always super friendly and helpful."
"Always funds good stuff I just love it shopping on this place they have a very friendly people to,"
"For this to be a thrift shop/ministry place of business I don't think I've been more rushed or treated so rude over the phone as much as I was today.... I called to simply asked a question and unfortunately the gentleman I spoke to see more aggravated with me than to help me. I've done business with this location plenty over the years but not to discredit this place because there is a lot of good things there except for his attitude. He answered My question after blowing his breath in the phone like I have aggravated him by calling to ask a question about a bed. But, as I was trying to say thank you for your time ,he's tells me well I got to go have people in here and just hangs up the phone. And just so we're clear that phone call lasted not even 2 minutes. I get everyone has a bad day but that is just bad customer service and it makes it look even worse considering it is a christian-based company after that I have chosen not to do business with them anymore but treating your customers that way is not acceptable. I hate for this too be a reflection of the whole company because of maybe one bad person but that is unfortunately what happens when you hire poor customer service. Hope for the company safe with this gentleman has better days."
"The staff is always kind & courteous. Upon entry you see everything placed in categories which does make your treasure hunt a little bit easier. Items are priced low so it's a great place to find a steal. If your looking for furniture to fix up & resell then this place is a goldmine. Lots of junk tho so you have to look really good and rake your time."
