"From my 9-month journey of broken ankle and healing at Howard University Hospital in 2022-2023. The EXCELLENT: Surgeon Shelton A. McKenzie, MD. He is brilliant and open-minded. The other EXCELLENT: Doctors, resident physicians, specialists, interns, staffs, and nurses in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, Department of Anesthesia, and in the Emergency Room. They are excellent in service and care. The BAD: Couple of nurses in the IV Room AFTER my surgery on May 22nd, 2023. They are impatient, incompassionate, unprofessional."
"Great people! Awful professionally in the Adult Sickle Cell department. Awful ER treatment despite your condition spreading as an adult with Sickle Cell Anemia; such racism. General Staff treat patient's like they are doing you a favour instead of doing a job for which they are being paid! HOWEVER THERE ARE SOME AMAZING, CARING PEOPLE THAT WORK THERE! SO THAT IS WHY I WANT THEM TO GET THERE STANDARDS BACK!"
