"Anyone who gives this place anything more than 1 star has never had the privilege of being seen by a quality pediatrician. I took my newborn son here, they didn’t ask me any meaningful questions about the regiments and routines I have in place, didn’t give any through assessment of his physical body. All they kept doing was asking me if I was going to give my son 3 Hep B vaccines before he turned 1 month old. I told one of the doctors I would think about it. They told me they would need to reconsider me as a patient. I fired them instead. I take my son to a wonderful, out of network doctor in Georgetown and it has been the best decision I made. Parents, you can do better. This place is garbage. I liked Dr. Chang- Pitter… but the rest of them are just pharmaceutical sales reps in doctors cloaks."
"We have been at this office for 4 years and the doctors have always been great. However for the past year or two we have not been able to schedule a sick visit and have had to go to urgent care every time (specifically asthma related issues). We just moved to a new school and requested an updated health form and vaccination record and were told it would take 10 business days just to email the forms. Clearly this office does not have the staff it needs to service its current patient load."
"We’ve taken our daughter to this pediatricians office from birth to tweens. We love the staff, the front desk, and the pediatricians we’ve had. The doctors rotate in and out rather frequently, so patients should understand that they will not always see the same doctor over time. Also, the online appointment portal is consistently broken and simply does not function as it should for making appointments. It is best to just call the office directly at 8 AM to make an appointment."
"Worst front desk I have ever seen! She was so rude and unprofessional! They forgot my son’s 15 months old booster vaccinations and he got those when he is 3,5 year old!!! Every time I was there, asked them multiple times and they said you’re good to go even after I asked them to make sure again! This week I recieved an email from school which they were notified by DC Department of Health that my son was missing his dtap and hib vaccinations ( I don’t know how it’s possible to forget those vaccines!!!) . I called and made an appointment. When I went there even I notified them, they ask me which vaccinations he needs to get, ridiculous and unprofessional!!! I asked them you have the record then they blame the doctor and said it’s not our responsibility it’s the doctors responsibility she couldn’t care less she didn’t even apologize!!!!"
"I've been using CNPA (both locations) for 5 years out of convenience and am kicking myself for not finding a better pediatrician sooner. I find the desk staff to be incredibly rude, it's tough to get an appointment and you can't book online. When you are physically in the office, they will not let you book more than a month out so you're forced to call and sit on hold to make a simple appointment and cannot book more than 1 month in advance. The doctor we have seen consistently is always late and always rushed and I don't feel we have gotten the care our kids need to thrive. I like her but perhaps she has too much work on her plate. An example of this was when we took my daughter to her 2 year old check up. Doc was 30 mins late and then spent 10 mins with us total. My son (who was also there and is 5 years old) asked the doctor to look in my daughter's ears. Turns out my daughter had an ear infection. The doc said, "good thing he told me to look. We don't usually look during check ups." I found this comment quite odd and mentioned it in passing to a friend who works in a pediatric office. Her immediate response was, "that's the purpose of a check up, I always spend lots of time with my patients and look at everything." Their locations are convenient but think twice about the care you will receive. It's been lackluster and there is truly zero effort made as it relates to their customer service and building relationships with patients."
