Reviews
"Dr. Yetter M.D cares more about his phone than he does about his patients. It's more about getting the patient in and getting the patient out, then it is about there mental health. Hundred percent guarantee he's not the doctor for you."
"After Dr. Rowe had left, I was wary about trying to find another psychiatrist. I reached out to other offices and had a couple terrible experiences so I called Pegasus again, hesitant after reading these terrible reviews. Honestly, Dr.Yetter was flexible and willing and tried to maintained the professionalism and patience Dr. Rowe had. I’m very sorry that others had terrible experiences with him and I am in no way trying to invalidate their experiences. My experience was just different."
"During my phone sessions with Dr William Yetter, he was always rude, screaming and yelling vulgar language, especially if there was paperwork he was sent that needed to be filled out or the pharmacy/pharmacists need additional information and needed Dr Yetter to call. I always had to deal with his foul language while screaming and yelling. This was every single time I had a phone session with him. My last phone session with Dr William Yetter, because the pharmacy needed him to call them to get information so my meds could be processed, I was Mentally and Verbally abused by Dr Yetter screaming at me with foul and vulgar language. Dr Yetter started screaming at me asking me why he needed to contact a pharmacist. I, myself, am a patient, not a pharmacist or doctor so tried to tell him what the pharmacist told me. Dr William Yetter continued screaming and yelling vulgar language and told me he didn't have time to call pharmacists whenever for 'patients like me' (I'm still trying to figure out what category of 'patient' I am to Dr Yetter. Is it woman, my race, my financial status, etc?). I let Dr Yetter know I was dealing with a lot, as he was aware of because I shared those things with him (what most people who see a psychiatrist do), and how I didn't appreciate the disrespectful screaming, language..the way he was speaking to me. Dr William Yetter said to me 'we can stop this right now and you can go find another psychiatrist'. I said to Dr Yetter "for you to make me or any patient know that you will easily 'dispose' of any patient if a patient won't sit quietly and let you not listen to us, scream and yell vulgar language to us lets me know what type of doctor you are is disgusting, especially during a PANDEMIC when patients, like me, are barely hanging in there mentally". Dr William Yetter continued with his screaming and yelling. At this point, I was being mentally and verbally abused by Dr Yetter, my psychiatrist. The amazing thing is I was at a follow up visit with another doctor during Dr Yetter's 'fit' he was throwing. My phone was on speaker, the doctor I was following up with heard everything Dr Yetter was screaming and I also recorded the call with Dr Yetter. The doctor who overheard everything Dr Yetter was screaming, yelling and the vulgar language was shocked and angry to hear Dr William Yetter, a psychiatrist, speak to me, a patient, that way. After having to yet again, deal with mental and verbal abuse from Dr William Yetter. Dr Yetter told me he didn't know when he would call the pharmacist about my meds and hung up on me. The doctor who overheard all of this because I had my phone on speaker and was recording the call, was so concerned about my mental health because I was shaking and upset was trying to keep me calm. I was so shaken, I couldn't drive so the doctor who overheard Dr Yetter's craziness told me to just sit. In 15 to 20 minutes, Dr William Yetter calls me back just to verbally and mentally abuse me more with the cursing, screaming and yelling to tell me how f'n stupid the pharmacist was and regardless of the fact I don't have much money, I should not put doctors like him through calling pharmacists and I should pay full price for prescriptions whether I have the money or not. The doctor that heard all this was telling me not to engage. I told Dr William Yetter, "thank you so much for taking your precious time calling the pharmacist". Dr William Yetter said to me "Don't get sarcastic with me!!". Dr Yetter then hung up on me, again. I honestly felt threatened. The doctor who heard all of this, as well as me recording the 2 calls with Dr Yetter, told me to block Dr Yetter and would help me find another psychiatrist. William Yetter made it clear with his own words that patients are 'disposable' if you don't allow him to verbally and mentally abuse. I TOLD YETTER MY MENTAL STATE WAS FRAGILE, HE DIDN'T CARE BECAUSE HE CONTINUED THE VULGAR VERBAL AND MENTAL ABUSE. My mental health nor my 'LIFE' mattered/matters to Dr William Yetter. PLEASE SEEK HELP W/ A PSYCHIATRIST WHO CARES. U WON'T GET HELP HERE."
"Dr Yetter is a very caring and professional doctor out for his patient best health and quality of life interest. I’ve been seeing him several years now and I have a better quality of life due to doctor Yetters counseling, medication, and close attention he pays to my job and home life with family and coworkers. If you know someone from the military struggling and trying to make sense of what they are going through send them to Dr Yetter at Pegasus and they will be on the road to recovery and better quality of life at home and on the job."
"Two stars is extremely generous for this man. I will first and foremost admit, Dr. Yetter does a fair bit of "counseling" with his patients which is extremely beneficial, as most psychiatrist do not. However, during these "counseling" sessions, he makes quick judgements about patients before getting to know them. My mother is severely Bi-Polar 1 with manic episodes, and horrible anxiety. She has lived through things that are unimaginable. Dr. Yetter does not address these issues, instead, he is too occupied with trying to convince her to go to a nursing home / assisted living facility. My biggest problem with this man is before he even gets to know his patient, he switches their medication DRASTICALLY. There was no way a man of his intelligence (which is very high may I add) would switch someone as unstable and severely disturbed as my mother in the manner he did without an ulterior motive or instability himself. She went completely manic, and continues to do so every time he changes her medication. She was prescribed medications by him in extremely high doses, and then cut off cold turkey after a month. I spoke with other practicing physicians about exactly his methods of prescribing and switching, and all agree it is ridiculous. There was a specific medication he threatened her life with. I don't recommend this Dr. unless your condition is not severe, and you need a harsh reality check. You won't get any compassion or understanding from him."
