"He can listen but I found he was not the most careful and caring. He would recommend the cheapest medicine for me, which I greatly appreciate. But it would ultimately amount to nothing when he recommended me for in patient care. If no one is aware, refusing your doctor's referral to seek more help when working with Winchester Mental Health Clinic will bar you from seeing that doctor. I refuse to believe this rule is for the good of the troubled patient and not just for the Mental Health Clinic's sake. When not everyone has the privilege to pay for even the minimum therapist/psychiatrist appointments, that's even less so for further care. I am not going to pay $500+ a week and effectively put myself in financial instability. Therefore I can no longer see my doctor, meaning I am cut off from my medicine. Do you know how hard it is to find a good doctor in this area? How everyday, until your first scheduled appointment with a new doctor, you're stressed over having no refills and only a few dosages of your meds left. It's really a trivial game of waiting and more personal accountability so I digress. Yet it is the universal experience only neurotic ones go through. Dr Winfrey is either too naive or doesn't care. I failed to find the passion for helping another that I would like to find in a Doctor. This is the gist of my experience: he will try to help you initially and find some medicine that might work. But over time his quality of care would diminish. If you ever find yourself reading this Dr. Winfrey. I have trust issues and this experience... did not leave me well. I am doing much better now that I'm past that. I hope for your future patients that you do better. Be better."

"Dr. Winfrey is a great Dr. I highly suggest him to anyone who is honestly wanting to be clean. However, if you are not serious about being clean and being in complete recovery, then he wouldn't be the Dr. To go to. He is nice and cares about his clients and their well being. Basically, if you're only going to get medicine, as a rebound, and have no intentions of quitting street drugs, he will find out through drug testing and discharge you. I love my WCMHC Dr and team.
