"If the care of patient's by the doctor's at the office is half as great as the customer service of the two women working at the reception desk that I spoke to to make my children's first appointments, then my kids will be well taken care of. In a world where customer service is so underappreciated, I wanted to take the time to say thank you so much for a wonderful interaction with such kindness, great attitudes, and respect on the phone. I sincerely look forward to my appointments in June. Update January 4th 2024: in the day and age that we are in right now where customer service is sorely lacking I just wanted to stop and post a note to Krista about how absolutely amazing her customer service and phone mannerisms are and how she always stops to take the time to help me with questions or concerns that I have in regards to my children and their care or their upcoming appointments. I have probably went through 10 different pediatricians since my five-year-old was born and this is by far the best office I have ever encountered the nurses are absolutely amazing the receptionists are five star in the physicians and nurse practitioners regardless of who it is are absolutely amazing and have the best best side manner I have ever experienced with my kids I would recommend them to any and everyone."

"I've been coming to the is practice for 11 years, since my son was born. (Dr. Joyce is amazing!) I even transferred my daughter, now 15, from Sentara to this practice back then. I recently gave birth to another daughter who was 5 weeks premature. I had not let thoe office know I was pregnant again, but it was no problem to get an appointment for her the next day. Everyone was extremely helpful and attentive at her initial appt. She was able to come home with me from the NICU 4 days after delivery. The hospital sent her home with a nodule-like protrusion on her lower abdomen. I was given a referral to CHKD, but they scheduled me for an appt. in early June (soonest avail.). When we went in for the 1 week well check, the NP was not happy with that time frame, she had CHKD called and we were rescheduled for the following Thursday. Also, my daughter is on a special premie formula that we coyld not find in stores. I'm sure everyone with a baby is aware of the formula shortage d/t the recall. They gave me the samples from the Kempsville office, and called the Norfolk office to bring samples for me to pick up as well. You all don't know how much that is appreciated. There is no feeling like stressing about where your newborns next food supply is coming from through no fault of my own. I really appreciate this practice and their dedication to the wellness of all their patients. You all are amazing! Thank you so very much!"
