"We were new to the area, my one daughter just had a baby in 06/2022, who was assigned to a different pediatrician- when she had COVID-19 symptoms at 14 days old, with all of us being positive and her running a high fever, not only would the ER not test her but that other pediatrician also didn’t- they just told us to take her to the hospital although we told them that that was what we had done and they said to take her to her PCP, so then they said to take her to Kingsport or Johnson City. Hello??? We ALL are sick with a fragile newborn and that was the care we got? None whatsoever? - Thank God a friend mentioned Dr Potter… I called and IMMEDIATELY was told to bring her in, even IF we decided to stick with the other doctor, that he would be there for her/ us! Come to find out, she was positive, thank God she made it through it fine, but how will a hospital and PCP simply turn away such a fragile little human? This doctor made our fears bearable! I just think of those who don’t have transportation to drive 50 miles one way, sicker than dogs to top it off, after a day of getting bounced around with a sick newborn with a virus that had killed so many people! Dr Potter is a very kind and likable doctor- of course we switched to him and I’m making him my younger Kid’s PCP as well!"

"He is a really good doctor my daughter has a cleft lip and palate her other doctor wouldn't really lesson to me and pushed me and jolene to the back burner but with potter he puts her first and listens to what I have to say he is an amazing doctor and I greatly appreciate all he has done so far and continues to do for her seeing we just went in there out of the blue to get a second opinion best choice I ever made"

"Doctor Potter has always been amazing to my son!!! He started going to him when he was 9 he is now 17 almost 18! We followed him when he went out on his own! He is the only doctor that we have been to that actually cares about his patients and takes the time to get to know them!! He has normal conversations with my son when he is there to his interest to his grades!!!! Best doctor hands down!!!"

"Dr Potter was both mine & my sister's Dr when he first got out of school & started his business. After several years of taking my sister to all kinds of Dr's, Dr. Potter was able to find out she has genetic Rickets and finally got her set up with a specialist & she was able to then have her knees/legs fixed. Had it not been for him she would have been in a wheelchair within a couple more years. He is now all 5 of my kids Dr & has done amazing with all of them as well. He talks with the kids as well as myself about what's going on. He also is interested in what the kids are doing at school & sports. I don't think I will ever change their Dr to anyone else."
