"When my lawyer is done with AV Carrier for exhausting poisoning he said that you are next on his list. Because you sent me a doctor that could not speak English. And my ex wife was a witness when he said that Norton Community was not equipped to deal with toxic poisoning. So my Chicago lawyer will be in touch. I recorded the whole conversation.. God help your soul."

"I came to the er for what I thought might have been strep(severe) but it wasn’t. Dr Bruner was very kind and took great care of me. The nurses were all great. I unfortunately had to stay in the er for more than 24 hrs to wait for a transfer to another hospital. But the drs that came in and seen me and the nurses specially Darren, heather and Tyler were great. They made my stay comfortable and safe."

"$4500 for a foot X-ray, with insurance, and I've gotten 3 separate "provider" bills that have arrived over the span of 2-3 months. Was there over 3 hours and heard maybe 1 other patient in there and one leaving. Ballad is a joke and this hospital will milk you for all you're worth."

"Do your research on Ballad. Their mortality rate is at an all time high. The ceo isn't even a Dr and makes more $ than other ceo's globally. Staff morale is at an all time low. Ballad represents everything that is wrong with Healthcare, especially in this region. My own recent emergency visit to the ER was a nightmare. The staff weren't interested in doing their job and the Dr. didn't order the right test and had no interest other than sending me home. I sought treatment at Pikeville where the quality of care is phenomenal compared to Ballad health and their nonexistent services. I'll never trust Ballad with my health. I value it, they don't. Ballad needs to leave this area. We are fed up!!"

"Took my husband to the ER for severe upper abdominal pain, he was extremely dehydrated because he wasn’t able to keep anything down. We waited about an hour and a half before the woman up front came to check to see if he was ok. (I only saw 2 other people in the ER total and heard about one being discharged). She was the one who told the nurses to do something because my husband was thrashing in pain. Waited another hour just for him to be taken back for a CT Scan. Waited 2 more hours for the results from that. we stayed in the ER for over 12 hours, saw a doctor three times, and my husband was still in excruciating pain with no idea what the problem was. Just said ‘could be this’ and sent him home. Horrible, horrible hospital."
