"We have known many people that praise UVA about their personal experiences with cancer treatment. Unfortunately my husbands experience was with Dr. Riley and it was horrible . He has been waiting for a procedure since February. We drove 2.5 hrs to UVA twice to get a pet scan to find out their machine was broken. No apologies from the doctor, no follow up calls, nothing. We finally found another place for the scan which was needed before UVA could do his treatment. We waited 6+ MONTHS for a treatment date and NOTHING. My husband got sicker and sicker. We finally switched to Fairfax hospital that immediately saw my husband and within 2 months he received the treatment he so desperately needed. This is only a small piece of the nightmare!
