"hey traumatized my daughter. my daughter had always been relatively to the dentist. Got regular cleanings brushed her teeth everything was fine she just liked to know what was going on inside her mouth and I don't blame her seeing all of those scary tools when you're only seven or eight go into your mouth is a very scary experience for a child well, at one point she had a cavity and needed to get it filled this was traumatizing for my daughter as they it didn't explain anything. And Her mouth clamped open for hours and didn't let her know anything that was going on after this experience because she was crying. Dr. Cook recommended that we did a sedated procedure where the parents were not allowed into the room little did I know that she would be wrapped up, unable to move, and the only reason they recommend this is her that could have some peace and quiet as they were done her teeth. Now we go to a different dentist and she's so traumatized that she sweats through Her shirt, and shakes the entire dentist chair because she's so nervous, and the dentist is relatively not a good experience for her, I'm very upset that this practice treated my child is way and gave her such an intense fear of dentist. Do not go here ever!"
"I Absolutely love Dr. Cook. She is very old school approach with new school devices. She gave me multiple ways to treat my kids ( One of which at the time was 18 months ) I found her to be quite refreshing.I didn't want someone to beat around the bush with me. Prior going to her , We had a terrible experience with another Local Dentist. Our Five year old went to the Local Dentist three times before we called it quits after an incident with numbing and blisters. I know business must go on but they only cared about the money. Dr. Cook is amazing and she expects her staff to uphold the same. Others have said that she spoke down to them I can understand what your speaking of, BUT when my child is in the chair and crying because its something new the sense of urgency is there to hurry up with process- SOMEONE NEEDS TO TAKE THE REIGNS . She Will continue to see my kids because I like that she is straight forward about problems and doesn't make me feel terrible and it could really happen to anyone. I can not say more praises for her, the staff, insurance girls- I know I bugged them- Just everything about it. The cleanliness, Covid Protocol. Trust me. If you want the best for your children. Don't be afraid to reach out to them. ASK QUESTIONS. They want to answer them . Get a check up every 6 months!!"
"Crystal did an outstanding job cleaning my preteen daughters teeth. She’s so patient and kind and makes her feel at ease. Harold was amazing relating to my teenage daughter and did a fabulous job with her cleaning. I love how Dr. Cook is proactive and thorough. She treats my children like they are her own. The front desk did such a great job getting me appointments quickly and at a time that fits in my schedule. Even though my kids didn’t see Dr Lunka he greeted us and made us feel welcome."
"This is by far the best Dentist office ever. Dr Cook is fantastic. My daughter was really nervous and upset so when I walked back in after the procedure and saw Dr Cook snuggling and comforting my daughter, my heart melted. The name for the office, Children's Dentistry with a Mother's Touch, is perfect. You can tell that Dr Cook is a mother and that shines through with the mother's touch that she puts into her care for the children. Jamie was awesome. She was very comforting and kept me informed every step of the way while my daughter was having her procedure. Angie is also so nice and sweet. She could tell that I was worried and she did her very best to make sure I was OK. She is always so welcoming and I look forward to seeing her every time we visit. The staff here is just the best and I am so happy to be apart of the family at Children's Dentistry with a Mother's Touch"
"I visited this office with my 3 year old son for the first time last week. The staff was very friendly from the moment we walked in the door. We couldn't have asked for a better hygienist (Julie). She took the time to speak with my son and show him all the tools before she started to do any cleaning. While waiting for the dentist, she sat in the floor and rolled a ball back and forth to him. What really impressed me was the way she asked permission before touching my son when he started to try and sit up while the dentist was looking in his mouth. I feel like we couldn't have made a better choice for our son! I highly recommend that anyone take their child here!"
