Nairobi Intergrated Services

Nairobi Integrated Services, located at 158 Gillis Road in Portsmouth, Virginia, is a health institution that focuses on the well-being of youth through their Youth Mind & Body Mental Health/Substance Abuse Program. This interactive and comprehensive program aims to strengthen the mind and body, increase positive development, and decrease negative mental and physical health issues. Additionally, Nairobi Integrated Services offers free Substance Abuse Support groups once a month to build a small community support system. The institution collaborates with Zeno Wellness Group in Franklin, VA, and provides person-centered treatment through outpatient therapy, individual substance abuse counseling, group counseling, and life coaching services. Nairobi Integrated Services is an ASAP-certified provider and offers virtual individual and group sessions. Peer Recovery Support Services will soon be available, and the institution works closely with community providers to help clients achieve their goals. Substance abuse treatment and prevention groups are offered at various locations in Virginia, and a Free Virtual Substance Abuse Support Group is held every 4th Sunday. Nairobi Integrated Services also offers Adolescent Drug and Alcohol treatment and prevention virtually on Tuesdays. The institution runs groups led by Peer Recovery Support Specialists, focusing on recovery plans and addressing substance and mental health conditions. Additionally, Nairobi Integrated Services provides parenting coaching and is an approved provider of Chesapeake Bay ASAP. A fee will be implemented for ASAP Assessment Paperwork starting January 1, 2024. The institution encourages making positive choices and staying safe, even offering personal letters of encouragement to individuals struggling with alcohol issues.
