"Parking in the garage is free and easy. The staff is reasonably friendly and relatively efficient. Just remember, it's Navy medicine so the Navy always comes first."

"I had an appointment scheduled with radiology. I had to cancel because I woke up sick this morning. When I was transferred to the radiology department the man was very rude. I was raised to be polite to everyone, and I was polite to him despite his tone and “I couldn’t care less” attitude. He made it very obvious that he didn’t want to answer my questions. He said he couldn’t reschedule me an appointment right now, didn’t say why or if I needed to call somewhere else. Anytime I asked something he repeated “I can’t schedule you anything” and just sounded so annoyed. Then he hung up. I would have appreciated some guidance, not his piss poor attitude."

"Everytime you come here it's a 4-8 hour wait before you are helped. There was a guy next to me with a finger nearly cut off, and they still made him check in and wait. For this to be an Emergency Room, this by far the worst one I've ever experienced in all of America. The people you check in with were and are always rude, the vitals people were nice. I've been here for 4 hours so far. They got our vitals, but now we gotta wait for the next 4 hours to be seen. If you come here bring a backpack, bring survival gear, bring entertainment, because you will be here forever. If you have a life threatening issue, call the ambulance instead."

"My birth experience was incredible. Due to the circumstances of the birth, I wasn't able to follow my original birth plan, but all the nurses/doctors who worked with me from the start of my induction to the delivery did a great job communicating with me every step of the way. They made sure I was informed on everything they were doing and got my consent. They all had excellent bedside manner too and kept me as comfortable as possible throughout my labor and delivery. The birthing and postpartum rooms are very nice, my husband had a comfortable place to rest the entire time. The food provided by the hospital after delivery is not bad. The NICU nurses are doing a great job taking care of my son too. Overall I'm more than pleased with the entire experience, especially considering how nervous I was going into it."

"The absolute least bed side manner, enthusiasm and care I’ve ever received pre natal. I had to wait until I was 10-13 weeks estimated for my first check up, I waited another 6 weeks for my next and to find out the gender. They did a Doppler and no ultra sound and handed me a piece of paper that said “it’s a boy!” They didn’t even do a baby picture with it. They have taken any joy, fun or keep sake excitement out of finding that out for us. I have a history of thyroid cancer which, makes you automatically high risk, but not according to their mid wife. All pregnancies are different, so I guess that means my Medical history changes too? With my first son we were able to count fingers and toes by 16 weeks, this appointment I was told she wouldn’t be looking at that, or anything at all for that matter. I have to wait another 6 weeks for a check up, and I have to schedule my own appointment with radiology for an anatomy scan. I’m still trying to figure out where exactly is the “care”? I will never ever hear again after I have this baby."
