"Searched far and wide for a fantastic SLP who could look dynamically at the problem and not cookie cutter. Found that here. Such excellent providers and evidence based care. Structured, functional, embedded learning and fun."
"Our family loves The Speech Path and we absolutely adore Suzanne! We would follow her anywhere and are so excited for her and Amy's new space. Such a caring group of professionals who truly are dedicated to helping children. Their new location is absolutely gorgeous: clean, welcoming, and so aesthetically pleasing. It is such a soothing environment for therapy. We have been working with Suzanne for 3 years now for speech and she always has new ideas to keep my son engaged during sessions. She has become like family and is just so supportive every step of the way. I can't thank her enough for all the love, time, and energy she pours into my son. If you're looking for a speech therapist for your child, look no further! You definitely want these ladies on your team, they are the best of the best!"
"I have twin boys with delayed speech. It has been a long road to get them what they need and feel like they are finally in great hands. I was referred to Amy by a former coworker of hers and I am so glad we found her. The only words my boys were able to say were mama dada and they used sounds to communicate. While sitting in on the initial consultation I could not believe the sounds and words she was pulling out of my son. She worked with them all summer and their progress was unbelievable. They were finally able to communicate with us and it helped at home and preschool. Amy is an amazing person and I don't think her career path could fit her any better. This summer we started back up at The Speech Path and will continue through the school year. Amy was so accommodating and fit us right in. We are working with Greta who is another SLP at The Speech Path and is truly amazing how she works with these children. They have been a gift from God and I cannot be more grateful for everything they are doing for us! I would recommend The Speech Path to anyone who has a child that needs the help they can provide!!"
"My son has been seeing Amy at The Speech Path for a little over a year now. From my first call with her, prior to our first visit, she listened to me. I had suspicions that my son had Apraxia of Speech, which is why I sought her out. Not only was she highly recommended but I learned that she had 20+ years treating apraxia. His previous speech therapist at another facility, I feel, did not listen to my concerns, and they were not treating him with the correct approach. He made no progress there. My son had no words prior to meeting Amy; he was 2.5 years old. Because of her expertise, he was diagnosed with apraxia early on in his treatment with her. He was then able to get the correct "type" of speech. Within the first few months with Amy, my son had more sounds, was signing more and was trying harder than he ever had to talk. A year later, his language has exploded. He is able to very clearly make his needs known. His speech still is not clear, and it won't be for years. But, it is so much more than it was. Amy has an amazing way of holding a child's attention and making speech therapy fun. She does so well in keeping me informed and letting me know what she is thinking; she is very much a part of my son's team. I am able to sit in on all of the sessions and, then I am able to work on things at home as a result. Amy is also very collaborative, with me, and the other SLPs at The Speech Path. Although we haven't worked directly with the other SLPs, they are amazing too. They have often looked in on my son's session to give input or thoughts. The self pay, initially, was a hard thing for me to accept, because we pay for insurance and want to use it. But, I QUICKLY realized the worth of Amy, and the team. I will never take my son anywhere else as long as Amy is a practicing SLP. She has been such a vital part of my son's development, and I will forever be grateful and thankful to her. I can not recommend The Speech Path enough."
"I cannot say enough good things about the speech path! My son was diagnosed with apraxia of speech in 2021, we had been to another speech therapist for 6 months with not a lot of progress. When we came to Amy and The Speech Path in April 2022, everything changed. Within the first session my son was saying new sounds and words I had never heard before- it brought tears to my eyes. Although Amy had a very busy schedule she texted me every week with her last minute availability. When I am not able to sit in on a session she sends me videos of his progress. Christopher is excited to go to speech therapy twice a week and typically does not want to leave! I am continuously amazed at Christopher's progress and am excited to continue therapy with the speech path!"
