"This is Marie from CAG, and I’ve been seeing Dr. Snow for 2 leg/hip injuries. 1) She got both straightened out in about 1/10 the time of the other PTs I’ve seen in the past 10 years. In the past my injuries took 12-18 months to resolve; with Dr. Snow, it’s been 6 visits each. 2) She is much less expensive than my other therapists. Although I pay up front, my insurer covers half and I end up paying about $500 to resolve an injury. At the other clinics I’ve been to (most recently INOVA), it’s been $25 per visit but has taken up to 50 visits to resolve injuries— that’s more than double the cost and much much longer time. 3) She uses different techniques from all the other PTs who’ve treated me. None of them did spinal manipulation to address nerves that weren’t working properly. This has helped immensely. At my age and love of outdoor activities, she’ll be on my phone’s favorites list from now on."

"After getting back into running following a year-long hiatus (eek), I wanted some help with alignment and avoiding injury. Ironically, due to travel schedule, it was a few weeks until I could get to my first session. By that time, I was enduring an injury that had rendered me unable to run (and barely walk) for 2 weeks. I honestly thought about canceling my appointment with Dr. Stacy, thinking my injury was beyond the bounds of PT. I'm glad I didn't discount the possibility too quickly. I hobbled into her office in February. We identified the problem area -- along with some related and contributing ones --- and worked over the course of the next 7 weeks on strength and flexibility. "Dr. Snow is a wealth of knowledge and the best PT I've worked with... which is saying a lot since I've dealt with injuries for 15ish years and lots of PTs in that time. She not only helped alleviate my initial pain, but she helped set me up for long term success where I'm no longer on the roller coaster ride of feeling better one week then back in pain the next. Dr. Snow and her location isn't about showing up to "do your work" there like many "gym" style PTs. She helps with adjustments and testing in the session to give you the plan to really work on it on your own. That sets you up for longer term success by having those tools, but it does mean you need to commit to doing it on your time. That's not a negative IMO, that's a feature."

I was having trouble with my hip and Achilles and felt debilitating pain. I am AMAZED at how knowledgeable she is. "I've been in the fitness industry for 8 years and I've never worked with a PT as knowledgeable as Dr. Snow. She does an incredible job of assessing any nagging injuries, aches, or pains and makes deliberate efforts to examine every single potential root cause. I've been to numerous physical therapists about my knee pain. By far, I've seen the most progress with Dr. Snow. I couldn't even sit down without feeling pain/tightness! In just a few sessions, she had me squatting my normal weights again. She examined my movement patterns and walked me through WHY my body was moving the way it was, rather than just telling me what to do and sending me off on my own way.
