Dr. Angela Ferebee, MD 300 Medical Parkway, Chesapeake, VA 23320

"Dr. Ferebee’s best side manor is perfect, she’s one of the rare doctors that comes to work EVERY DAY with a calm, peaceful and loving attitude, she never makes you feel rushed, she will never make you feel like your a number on a ticket, the overwhelmingly calming presence she has is wonderful and rare, the only downside is the office side of the practice, the wait is not for the weak of heart I gave her 5 stars because she’s worth it and I want to raise her overall score, but the office, I’d give it 2, I definitely recommend clearing your day, sadly doctors are being paid less per-patient post corona, resulting in the need to schedule more patients per hour to stay afloat, you will be in the waiting room for at least 2 hours (most likely more) because they are so swamped, but (like other reviews have said) if you value being treated like a person over being seen quickly, then schedule and appointment, bring a book (maybe a pillow) and get real comfortable with the idea of spending some time with yourself, you can definitely make the best of it, I’ve had some pretty good times calling to catch up with old friends while waiting, just let the front desk know you’re stepping out for a call, they’ll come get you, and go out to the main area with a fountain, that way you aren’t disturbing anyone I’ve seen her for both my kids and plan on coming back for my third"

"Visited this practice 1/10/24 and will never return. I arrived early for a prenatal appointment scheduled for 3:20 pm. Immediately I was given new patient paperwork (totally normal and expected). After about 30 min of waiting, I was called back for vitals and a consultation. During the consultation, the assistant I was talking to could not give a clear reason why there wouldn’t be an ultrasound during my visit. Then I was directed to return to the waiting room and proceeded to sit there for 2 hours (with several other patients). Finally, someone told me that the Dr. Ferebee left shortly after I went back to the waiting room. I was asked to reschedule at 5:30 and declined because this experience was incredibly frustrating and unprofessional. Would not recommend this practice!"
