"Dr Moawad is the best in the field. I went to his practice in Miami, but it didn’t give the option to select that location. Christine is amazing!"
"I have to be thank full with Marián and penny for all the support and patience they bring to me, To Dr. Gaby, thanks for help me with the paint and thank you for making me feel comfortable And secure with you. God bless you and you job."
"I’ll be very honest. This is probably the most knowledgeable endo provider I have met in this chronic pain journey. He continuously educates himself on purpose. You can tell he actually has passion for what he does and actively seeks to learn more. Everywhere I go, they know his name and it’s usually followed by, “he’s really good,” or “oh ya he sat in with us to shadow once” He also provides you the opportunity to learn about endo/PN too. Surgery- minimal scarring if you want to know how he is cosmetics wise. Good luck to anyone reading this! Stay strong in your healing journey."
"Now 8 months post-op, I am confident publishing a 5-star glowing review of CEAPS. Dr. Moawad is knowledgeable, funny, confident, compassionate and a phenomenal surgeon. The office is responsive, reassuring, and very informative. I walked into the office knowing I was an endometriosis case and was reaching the end of my rope when it came to constant life-inhibiting pain. CEAPS worked quickly, expertly and graciously with me. Dr. Moawad identified a condition I'd never heard of that matched my symptoms exactly during the first intake conversation and exam. I walked in around mid-October, had an MRI scheduled to confirm my diagnoses the following week, and surgery scheduled for early November. My conditions and my options for next steps including what to expect regarding non-surgical alternatives were thoroughly explained and all my questions answered both in-office and via telephone calls. They also worked with facilities that were in-network with my insurance which helped me manage the expense of the procedure (at the time of my surgery in 2022, CEAPS did not participate in any insurance networks). I understood the procedure and what to expect thoroughly. 8 months later I feel better than I've felt in decades. I'm no longer cancelling vacations or plans with friends. I'm no longer consistently calling out of work or spending family time on a heating pad in my bed because of the pain. I wish I had known about CEAPS and visited years ago. I'd like to include a huge shout out to Ms. Penny who was incredibly gracious and patient with me via email and phone both with a pre-op misunderstanding - the women called me back the morning of my surgery as I'd left her a panicked voicemail at 4 am (all was well) - as well as weeks and months after post-op during some anxiety-inducing insurance snafus which eventually were resolved just as she indicated they would be. Those are hard shoes to be in and she was a saint. What you should know about me: I've been misdiagnosed for decades before finally being diagnosed with endometriosis in the last 4-5 years. I'd exhausted my options before finding CEAPS (1. various birth controls, 2. various medications attempted OR were unattainable due to pricing and lack of insurance coverage OR that I opted not to pursue because the combo of side-effects/limited duration of treatment/price/long-term impact were not worth it for me or my bone health, and 3. a poor laparascopic surgery experience that involved tissue removal 2 years prior that provided only 18 months of relief). I was both 100% ready for a hysterectomy when I booked the appointment (assuming Dr. Moawad considered it a treatment option for me, which he did) and ready to pay for a surgeon with 1. expertise in this condition, 2. expertise in robotic surgery and 3. was prepared to work in a multidisciplinary way with a colorectal surgeon. I had wasted a lot of my life on physicians and gynocologists who did not speak up about endometriosis or did not have respect for the condition or the patient's experience and minimized my pain. After seeing Dr. Moawad speak at a conference (video posted on YouTube, highly recommend), he ticked all the boxes and I was willing to pay a great deal to be his patient. He was worth every penny."
"I met Dr. Moawad in December 2020 after I did a Google search for a new doctor. I had an issue with my insurance and his office manager Josephine assured me that they will work with me and help me with my issue. During the first visit, he was able to predict my medical issue with just a pelvic exam and it was later confirmed by MRI. I was amazed at how knowledgeable he was and he even explained things differently than any other doctor I’ve met. Within 2 weeks of my first appointment I was scheduled for my hysterectomy and freed from my ailments. I will forever be grateful for him renewing my life and will recommend him to everyone. He is worth every dime."
