Dog's Haven Grooming

"Literally, if I could give zero star, I would. Very excited for our first day and an 8 o’clock appointment. Just my luck that my daughters bus didn’t show up and I had to drop her off at school. That paired with an unexpected call from a work client created a fluster. I got to the salon as soon as I could, 14 minutes late. While getting the dog out of the car my phone was ringing; it was the salon at 8:15. I walked through the door only for her to tell me that there is a 15 minute window and they could not service me. Evidently 15 minutes and 45 seconds is reason enough for them to turn down a new client and lose business. Obviously frustrated by the morning, I explained what happened, but it didn’t matter. This is our policy and fine print. She didn’t want to help at all. Not to mention the manner in which she spoke to me was very crass. Then I found out she was the owner?!? No way. When I told her how I felt about the way she was speaking to me, she became defensive and even more rude. So disappointed."

"First time customer, plan to be a lifetime customer. What a positive experience. Steve the owner is friendly and jovial. The young woman who groomed my very large golden retriever was gentle and competent. She gave my big guy exactly the cut I wanted. Not just a shave down, but a medium length cut so he wouldn’t get sunburned at the beach due to a too close cut. I wanted him to still look like a golden, but not have that heavy coat. The cut is perfect. Remington is so much more comfortable now. Thanks!"

"Many thanks to Steve for grooming my Maltese today. Fabulous service and excellent communication. Chase had his first groom today and had a totally stress free experience. He has major anxiety with grooming and being caged. When I went to pick him up he was not caged, he was able get to know his new surroundings. He seems to be relaxed when I pick him up.
