Reviews
"I've been a patient of Dr. King for 10+ years. She had been so kind and understanding to me, made me feel as comfortable as you can be in a vulnerable situation for women."
"My experience with Dr. King happened five years ago, but it was by far the worst experience I have ever had with a medical professional and I have never forgotten it. I went to Dr. King for an IUD insertion. The insertion was the most severe pain I have ever experienced. I became nauseous and nearly passed out. In a moment of extreme pain and vulnerability, legs on the stirrups, I expressed frustration that we women have to go through painful and invasive procedures to maintain agency of our bodies. She said "well you chose this". Additionally, I have learned since the procedure that local anesthetic can be used during an IUD insertion, something Dr. King chose not to inform me of for whatever reason. I have heard that Dr. King is good with pregnant women who visit the practice, but her bedside manor for women seeking birth control is atrocious and I would highly recommend young women seeking control of their bodies to see another physician at the practice. There are some phenomenal, kind, and understanding doctors at this practice. Dr. King is not one of them. EDIT: I wrote this a year ago and I still stand by every word. Whenever I read about the experiences that other women have had with IUD insertions, I am filled with a fresh wave of rage at Dr. King. I avoided gyno care for years after that experience because of how traumatic it was, and judging by the response this review has gotten on google, I am not the only one who has experienced that trauma. Dr. King has no business practicing medicine."
"Simply put, Dr. King is amazing. I was blessed to have her deliver 3 of my little ones. She is a doctor that is down to Earth, listens, makes visits comfortable, and is easy to speak with on sensitive topics. Dr. King genuinely cares about her patients. She is the only obgyn I visit and recommend."
