"Dr. K is a skilled scientist. Unfortunately, my experience with her lacked full disclosure of my condition not allowing me to make the best choice for me. She does not connect well and she will not communicate with Medical Oncology. A cancer diagnosis is devastating, leaving the patient very vulnerable. She is lacks the skills to encourage and makes decisions without offering or explaining alternatives. She either doesn’t listen, retain or simply doesn’t care. After carefully explaining I am a sexual assault survivor I was traumatized during my CT simulation because she 100% did not pass this information on to techs. I left crying and shaking and vomiting because the male reached into my labia within explanation, triggering me. If you want to be unheard, treated like your disease, and given ZERO encouragement she’s your doctor. In any other scenario- run!"
