"I recently booked a tour on their website and had a negative experience. I booked a tour five days in advance and received a confirmation email. When I arrived to the property, the leasing office had been temporarily relocated due to some construction. The hallways smelled like bad plumbing and mildew. Upon arriving to the leasing office on-time, I was confronted by the only leasing person named Nadia. I let her know that I was here for my 11am appointment for a one bedroom. She rudely told me that she had a walk-in show up and that I would need to reschedule because she was the only person there and she had limited units available to show. I explained to her that I had an appointment and that I was on-time. Nadia preceded to talk over me and tell me that she’s “not going to tour me”. She explained that she was just a temp helping out and that I needed to reschedule. She also mentioned she didn’t know I was coming because I booked my tour online. I asked for the manager’s card and she denied me. Definitely not living here. Poor customer service skills."
"I hve lived here for about four years...Since Sofi took over for the last two years it has been terrible. It was many times I let alot of belittling comments made by the assistant manager Rose go. Alot of times I avoided checking mail to avoid interaction with her. Eventually decided that I will be moving out. READ the reviews..! Visitor parking terrible, rarely ever a spot, until after 7.p.m, when the rest of the spots are freed by dental. during the day the visitor spots are always full! So many leasing agents have come and gone. On our 5th property manager since i hve lived here."
"I have not lived here. However, I did consider moving here and am very thankful I took the time to do more research. Upon reviewing this site, I saw a plethora of positive reviews raving on and on about how nice these units were. When reviewing the square footage and rates, considering the area, I was surprised to see the price so low with the amount of square footage offered. I called to speak to their leasing team (Robert) and inquired as to why their pricing was so low considering the advertised beauty of the property along with the glowing reviews. He mentioned that they were originally supposed to be condos, but they're now apartments. I then moved forward with submitting my application ($450 for the application fee and initial deposit). After concluding this process, something was not sitting right with me. I had been searching a while for apartments and was quite aware of standard pricing based on square footage, location, etc. I then did some more research where it all became clear. The reviews on Google were horrendous; roach infestations, rodent infestations, poor leasing, the negative reviews went on and on. I immediately called the leasing team (Robert) back the next day to cancel my application. When he asked me why, I explained to him the reviews that I had just read. Not one had anything positive to say regarding the property within the last year. What really put the icing on the cake was after sharing this with (Robert) he proceeded to tell me he had NEVER received any complaints regarding rodents, pests or negative feedback of any kind, and he would KNOW, because all complaints went through him. So, either you're lying or you are clearly ineffective at your job, because if you type in Sofi 55 Hundred in Google the complaints ARE RIGHT THERE IN BLACK AND WHITE undisputed! It's one thing to acknowledge the complaints and share how you've worked on addressing the issues mentioned, but to say you've never heard of them when the complaints go past six months is an insult and let me know this was not a complex I could trust or call home. Following my request for a refund, they told me they would need to issue my payment back in the form of a check (mind you that the deposit was taken out of my account IMMEDIATLEY) and it would take several weeks. Over a month went by, and I followed up to find out that not only do they have a new Property Manager, the check that (Robert) called me and assured me was in the works had never been issued! This property can not be trusted! From the first, the leasing office has functioned with a lack of integrity and follow through. I am still waiting to receive the funds I am owed! Joe the Property Manager who promised to see this process though has also been inconsistent!!! It's RIDICULOUS!! So please, before deciding to make this place your home, please review their Google Reviews, as the ones currently advertised are from 2022. I can attest that their attitude toward potential residents in 2023/2024 is absolutely horrible. I WOULD NOT recommend."
"so I moved out of sofi late August due to military orders. and im yet to get the 8 days of rent and my security deposit back. I've called the leasing office almost everyday for the last month and they just ignore my call. about 2 months ago someone actually picked up and told me the check "is on the way". essentially they are just trying to keep my money so they ignore my phone calls. I wouldn't recommend living here if you are wanting to make sure you get your money back at the end of your lease or if you move"
"I have held out on making this out of respect that they would keep their word and give me my refund but they have not. Their communication is absolutely horrible. I have called multiple times and can’t get through to a manager or leasing agent. I moved into Apt. 718 on Aug.10th, 2023 and had to terminate my lease to move out the very next morning on Aug.11th, 2023. This building is infested with roaches and they do not tell you this when you move in. They blame “dirty neighbors” but it’s far beyond that. I had a few items with me at the time of moving in, which lead to me finding a roach in my car after moving out. Thankfully, I inspected the apartment before moving all of my things in. Otherwise, I would have had a bigger problem. It’s upsetting because I was basically homeless until I found another apartment but I was happier homeless than dealing with roaches. They put the apartment back on their website the very next day after I moved out for a higher price than what I originally signed the lease for. It’s disappointing to say the least. I’m sorry to anyone who has to live here."
