"I currently live in the 925 APTS NOW!! Juts spoke with their Leasing Manger Joe Perry about a on going problem since I moved into this building August of 2022. 925 leasing manger submitted my paper work filled out wrong to DCHA, and that caused the payments to be sent to the wrong place. Some how some way 925 APTS are not posting all the payments that are coming in for my rent from DCHA. This Leasing manager Joy Perry is rude, unprofessional and was the one that sent in the paper work wrong to begin with!! There will be more to follow about 925 APTS. Phots of how dirty the laundry room is when I go down there, and several times the roof deck has been trashed and I reported it!! Nothing was done about it!! More to follow and more to update with this!! So after 14 months of dealing with this , and the Community Manager not once reaching out to talk to me , now you want to talk after I had to post this review. That is the only reason you asked me to stop by and talk. Why hasn’t the community manager been proactive in reaching out to me over the last 14 months ??? And for course the obvious thing for you to do is point the finger at DCHA. when I spoke to DCHA months ago they assured me that the paper work was turned in wrong by your leasing manager Joy Perry and I remember her telling me that the paperwork had to be sent in twice and if you work so hard here, why would the Community Manager not be more proactive and reaching out to the tenant?? , but instead I get severed papers. Because the community manager did not want to deal with this issue, but instead he has his rude , unprofessional and lack of experienced leasing manager continue to show how little she knows about being a professional. Amazing how people have to be motivated to do their JOB!!! No the only resolution is a for me to Move out!!! And finish my review after I move !!!"
"Wonderful apartment building. The leasing office has been great, very kind and helpful if/when you have questions. The staff does a great job keeping the place tidy and clean. The apartment rooms are very good, also well kept. The building is in a fantastic part of DC, close to grocery stores (~6-8 minute walk), near the Metro, and also close to the river and Georgetown. Very happy here"
"The new Leasing Manager here is great her name is Joi made my move-in process a breeze"
"Extremely disappointed. Zabida the leasing officer made it awful. I am moving out after a year and could not be happier. Zabida never did her job and made living there miserable. I sent in multiple complaints and the offices never resolved the issue. These apartments do not care about you. Do not rent from them."
"BEWARE. The renovated, 1-bedroom apartments are very nice, with hardwood floors and modern amenities. However, while the 925 Apartments offers great value and the staff is friendly, the leasing agents are HORRIBLE and will RIP YOU OFF. Before I moved in, the old leasing manager, Amber, told me they required a security deposit, even though I had a guarantor on the application. Their policy is that they do NOT require a security deposit if there is a guarantor on the application. Amber has since been fired for her incompetence. The new leasing manager, Zabida, is no better. The 925 Apartments has yet to return my money after nearly THREE months. Turns out, they made an error in processing my security deposit. Instead of charging me for the deposit and putting the money in escrow like they were supposed to, they used it for rent. This happened even though I was supposed to receive one month of rent for free, which they did not honor despite it being written in my lease contract. All this time, Zabida has acted totally aloof by not returning any of my calls or keeping me updated. I have had to jump through hoops just to get in contact with her. I feel as though she has been waiting for me to forget so she doesn’t have to deal with me anymore. She should really be fired. STAY AWAY from the 925 Apartments. Leasing agents are careless, lazy, and unprofessional."
