Gilliam Place Apartments

"This was my first apartment on my own as an adult. I moved into a studio unit back in 2020. The lease office was very professional during this process. Once I moved in I rarely had any complaints with my unit. When I did have a complaint, the maintenance team was very quick to respond to a work order. I also felt safe with the control access of the building. In addition, the apartment is in a good neighborhood and only minutes away from Pentagon City Mall and Washington D.C. Over time the building begins to show its age. The walls in my unit begin to crack and paint begins to peel. Both garage doors are broken due to residents running into them. In conclusion, my overall experience at Gilliam Place Apartment was good."

"Just wanted to leave another review on here. This place was definitely a nice and quiet apartment compared to other apartments in Arlington that are cheaply built. The office staff here treats everyone with respect and always are willing to help. Living around this area with rent prices as high as they are arlington county did a great thing by having this apartment built. Having moved to avalon sq from here I regret it every minute. Just a quick heads up for anyone that’s interested in Gilliam Place you’re going to love living here. People in the building are nice as well and friendly."

"Hello, I recently relocated to the area from texas and have been visiting a few different future housing residents for my permanent residence here. I contacted Gilliam this morning and spoke with Karen & Rashida and they were able to assist me quickly and professionally with all my needs. Being new to the area is a obstacle in its own and they were able to help me withballlll of my questions and provided additional information that I wouldn't of known other wise. I appreciate them helping me out on such short notice and helping me fill out the waitlist application and look at other places within the same professional property management company. "This is a nice building but the hallways always have a foul odor that management won’t address. More importantly, management cannot repair the fire panel that sounds non-stop at the entrance on Lincoln St. It is clear the fire panel system is not connected to the fire department or else the fire department would be on site everyday and management would be fined for too many false alarms. Although it is a new building, the plumbing is so messed up, they had to install new additional pipes on the exterior of the ceiling in attempts to correct the poor planning done during construction. As a result, the tenants are inconvenienced during these repairs. Packages are lost or stolen regularly and the office couldn’t care less to address the poor customer service, even though there are cameras throughout the building."

"Have been living here for about a year now! Great apartments in a great area! The property manager is amazing. She is quick to respond if you have any questions or concerns. Enjoying my brand new apartment..love it!"
