"I’ve lived at 1 element for 2 years.I would like to list some pros and cons of living here for future tenants. The first thing I feel people should be aware of is noise issues. You can hear footsteps and opening and closing of doors. Along with the door used for the entrance into your apartment leaks sound. I have even spoken to other tenants about if they also are experiencing these issues and have had them confirm what I’m experiencing. If you were having a conversation you don’t want the whole hall to hear good luck. I also found that the layout of the studio wasn’t well thought out and makes it hard to make a space that makes sense. Seems how ppl would fit furniture into the space was not taken into consideration. Also if I ever had complaints about noise I was given many run around and told multiple times there isn’t anything to do for months. Then I was given recently that I had to record the noise and send evidence in an email. This answer wasn’t given again until I had complained for months. For a place that claims luxury I shouldn’t be feeling like I’m sharing the space with my neighbors. Another issue I saw is the thinness of the paint inside the bathroom. It’s so thin that if you need to clean it’s impossible without having peeling that no doubt will be an issue upon move out. The fire alarms are incredibly sensitive and you have to have the fan over the stove running anytime you cook. Small issue but something to note. I have frequented the gym but quit going when it seemed an horrible odor from the gym seemed strong. Even flowing out into the common areas. Many times I’ve had the second door into the complex which you use the key fob for not work and had to walk all the way around the building. Management seems irritated if you call about these issues or quick to get you off the phone when you bring up concerns. A big one and maybe the most concerning is the mail issues I’ve had. It’s very often that mail here is placed in the wrong tenants box’s. This is very troublesome when you want to make sure you receive tax papers or bills in the mail. When bringing it up to the front office I’ve just been told a blow off answer and I’ve had countless mail that I had to report missing. Another issue is the very aggressive and rude emails from the front office about issues that you may not even be aware of. I think how you speak to your tenants is very important given we’re paying to live here. Also on the weekends the office is closed so if you have any concerns you are completely on your own until come Monday morning. For example someone is in your parking spot or again the noise. It pretty much seems a free for all until Monday. You can call but it’s just talking to someone who won’t solve the issue but just write it down to be addressed Monday. The only pro I can think of is how attentive the maintenance is and willing to help they are. Request for maintenance is quickly answered and fixed. Having assigned parking is lovely."
"I was fortunate to be able to visit the apartment complex last weekend as a prospective resident. I fell in love with the place. It’s new, elegant, simple and affordable. Location is great as well. Staff was very helpful and welcoming. Hope to live there soon and enjoy what the complex has to offer."
"I rated 1 element a 3 star because I am not a resident as of yet but I am a prospective resident. I would just like to say the management team is very nice and welcoming. I forgot who I spoke with earlier today when I went to visit but she was very helpful and answered all of my questions about the qualifications. I wish I would have gotten her name before leaving the office. Also, I never leave a review but I came here just to say the complex it’s absolutely breathe taking. Definitely worth the money they are asking for and to Mr. Tomlin’s wife you did an outstanding job with the interior design. The clubhouse alone made me fall in love with the complex."
"I lived at 1 Element for 2 years and absolutely loved it. It’s quiet, the people at the front office are so friendly and responsive. The apartment is beautiful, I honestly would have not left if I did not purchase a home. A couple pluses for me was the fact that you have to let someone in the building, so I always felt a sense of security. And that I could work from home with minimum issues (mainly my devices). I highly recommend this community."
"I find 1 Element to be perfect for me. I have the two bedroom unit with extra windows on the ground floor. I love the kitchen and all the upscale appliances and the washer/dryer makes life easy. The vinyl floors which look like hardwood are a breeze to keep clean. My only complaint is the arrangement for disposing trash. The dumpster is too far for me to walk and the trash compactor is even more inconvenient. I find the staff to always be pleasant and willing to work with me if I have a problem. The way the apartments are designed behind locking main doors is very comforting to me and I feel safe. I am happy to be living here!"
