"Staff was very pite and helpful. They have worked out all the details to finish up the leasing process we were helping with for a relative. The office was hard to get to, however, being in the back with steep steps to navigate."

"DO NOT MOVE HERE. The owner Mr deal is a scammer who ups prices on people. These apartments are not worth the price raise he keeps doing they are not well kept . The apartments are small. The try to charhe for any and every little thing - they tried to claim we would get kicked out due to a stain on the carpet.. months mater one of the maintenance members says they are changing most of the apartments to hard wood - the office probably knew that and still threatened us and had us pay a fee for the stain although we been here 2 years at the time and ware and tare is normal"

"My family and I lived at Cardinal Crest for 6 years. I would not recommend Deal Properties. Professional and caring are NOT words I would use to describe this company. When we first moved in Amanda, the office manager was amazing, and you were more than just a “number” to her. When she left, calls went unanswered and maintenance orders went unfulfilled. Appliances were old. The dryer was super old and made so much noise we didn’t even want to use it, we put a request in and it was never fixed. Same for the AC unit. The walls are VERY EXTRA THIN, you basically lived with your neighbors. Upon preparing to vacate the unit I called the Timberlake office asking for a check list and expectations when leaving and I was told to “clean as much or as little as you want” and “if our cleaning lady needs to come in it will be $90”. So of course I wanted to get most or all of my security deposit back so I cleaned and left the unit in good standing. To my surprise, hundreds of dollars were still deducted in the name of “cleaning”. I was not allowed the opportunity to receive a check list, no mention of a final walk through (which the tenant is allowed to be at) or any expectations at all. They over charged for oven drip pans and removing stickers that were there when we moved in. Stuff that I could have done for under $50. I was told the employee was wrong in telling me that, but nothing was done to correct the error that cost my family unnecessary $$$. They did keep the grass nice, but that is about all."

"When I first moved into Cardinal Crest owned by Deal Properties it was not the best apartment but it was nice and quiet on the outside. The management was great. During the last two years of being there management changed and services got worse. I would not recommend Deal Properties as my experience there is not the best - long time getting work orders done, not returning phone calls, and among that an item missing from people coming in to work in my apartment. They even took $55 of my deposit for cleaning the carpet which is something they should do after living there for four years."
