"RACIST … THE ENTRANCE DOOR TO THE AMENITIES IN CAVING IN but they haven’t informed anybody. People call you out of your name (black b*) and do nothing about it. They clean the apartment units with carpet cleaner and hand sanitizer if you’re lucky. No real cleaning products. (I am a former employee) and when told about the cleaning products nothing was done. They only possess one rag and ripped up t-shirts therefore the kitchen gets cleaned with the same rag that was used for the toilet. The management there is useless and they do not care about the residents. Henry Schutte is the assistant general manager who is also a student who can’t even begin to do his job."

"DO NOT MOVE YOUR COLLEGE STUDENT HERE! WISH I COULD GIVE NO STARS. We had to thoroughly clean the kitchen when the lease began - it was FILTHY. They advertise amenities (pool and golf simulator) that were not accessible the entire year my daughter rented. She also went 4 WEEKS without a washer with little to no communication from management. Maintenance entered her apartment without notice while she was asleep in her apartment - VERY CONCERNING. And when move out comes, they WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE of your college student with fines. What apartment complex does not paint between leases? They WILL charge for this and then threaten to report unpaid move-out fees to credit bureau. ALL POSITIVE REVIEWS ARE FAKE. STAY AWAY!!!!"

"Do not sign with lark on main. The flats or the standard is significantly better. Lark has no parking, no pool, and is equally expensive. This is not the worst of it though. Lark on main has written in “quarterly inspections” into their lease - unheard of for other nearby complexes. These inspections however seem to occur at least every month, with the 24 hour notice that’s given being something like “we will enter your apartment 10-5 sometime Monday through Friday. You don’t have to be there.” Which essentially gives no actual time at all, and they prefer people not to be there. They take pictures of your items and belongings which is quite literally illegal. The maintenance workers one time tried to bust open my roommates locked bedroom door during a random inspection. She was naked and about to shower - not really a good situation for a young woman to be alone and having random men yell and bang on the door demanding to enter. She asked if they could come back later and they very rudely said “no, that is not possible.” One time after an inspection had been done, 2 days later (out of the vague time frame they provided, by the way), they came again demanding to inspect and we had to insistently turn them away. I would not be surprised if management enters apartments when they know no one is home. This has cultivated an environment of fear and complete lack of privacy and disrespect for residents. A couple of weeks ago, they also sent an email about visiting pets that family brought - i.e a family dog for a couple of hours at most, threatening a fine of $200+ for anyone who violates their rule. Yet, the lobby and trash rooms are disgusting and filled with flies, and they have consistently lied about the pool. The front desk staff is very nice but remember they are not the ones running things. If you are looking for a furnished luxury apartment, I highly recommend you sign with the flats or standard."

"The positive reviews are 100% fake. Amanda Katz (the manager of lark) wrote a FAKE REVIEW, had the audacity to include her name AND respond to it. Lark is horrible, don't waste your money. Management is rude, charged me $250 last inspection and took photos of my belongings. The pool is closed and there is no gas in the grill. Management lied to residents about why the pool was closed, citing "renovations" which were completely unrelated and neglected a broken elevator and front door for weeks. ANY noise heard outside the apartment is considered a noise complaint and management consistently threatens residents with eviction. Lark is a toxic environment and everyone I know absolutely hates this place. Avoid this lark like the plague and choose the flats or standard if you want amenities."
