"Definite problems with management, loud neighbors at night, gang activity, dirty, laundry mats are a mess, broken down gym, pests, junk, and mold in apartments. I moved into my place, and it was super dirty. It's definitely a health hazard to live there, I moved out with no place to go, and things are better for me living in my car, than living in that place. And a local guy called the place a "crack house" which it is - only a matter of time before the place is condemned. I was sick a number of times at the property too for simple reasons around the place being a dirty cesspool of germs and disease. #avoid I would additionally add that the staff openly discussed wanting to steal my furniture, and I was forced to leave with fear of being killed, leaving my furniture behind so that my dog and I could survive. Do not rent at this property, it's a horrible horrible place, run by completely disgusting people who will steal from you, or worse. (And apparently they are being sued by the response below, I however am not doing that - must be the state since so many people reported them. LOL.)"
"Evidently these apartments are in "high demand" according to our lease renewal letter, and I can't imagine why! Gets a star for the price but not much else. I've lived here for almost 2 years and the gym they advertise on their website has been closed the whole time. "Laundromat" is disgusting, and half the machines don't work. Maintenance only responds to water pouring out of the ceiling (not the walls, though) and will tell you they "didn't find mold in your apartment" when the vent in your bathroom is almost black. It's making us sick. We reported mold on our move-in inspection and it's still here and getting worse!! "New renovated units" are across from us, by the way. Unless they redid the whole ventilation system, who cares about stainless steel appliances? Shell out the extra couple hundred and live literally anywhere else. (Well, except maybe Barracks West...) Edit: only after leaving this review did maintenance come to inspect the mold. Maintenance guys were super polite, as always, however they were not provided with a new vent cover to replace the almost black one so they PAINTED OVER IT. They said they sprayed some "chemicals" on the mold and it was paint. Technically true I guess, paint is made of chemicals. Review still stands."
"been here over a year and i like living here because it’s cheap, roomy, and quiet but the office does not care about their residents. their responses to issues (and there are plenty) are unacceptable and inadequate. gym has been closed for as long as i can remember and the laundromat is revolting."
"My air conditioning has not been functioning for almost 3 months now. Maintains a constant temperature of 80-95 degrees. I cant have guests, i cant cook in my kitchen as the stove causes temps over 100 degrees. Its absolutely rediculous. Im basically a prison in my own home as im restricted to a small bedroom with a tiny window unit that struggles to keep the bedroom under 70 degrees."
"I moved here because a friend had lived here before me, and I got to know the place over time. There are many poor reviews out there, so I wanted to offer another perspective. First, the layout of my apartment is perfect. Lots of closet space to keep clutter out of the way. My appliances are older but all of them work great, and I know if there is ever a problem that it will be fixed very fast. There is a maintenance team onsite that know all about the apartments. They are friendly, professional, and get things done. The staff in the office are always friendly and ready to assist. I love the location where I can walk to 3 coffee shops/cafes and a great neighborhood bar in Vivace next door. The laundry machines are modern and close. The pools are awesome. I feel safe. The heat and AC is efficient and the cost is low for that. There is always parking near my place. Other tenants are pretty nice. The only complaint I have is that tenants throw their trash outside the trash receptacles. Every morning maintenance comes by to clean up after them. This is not the fault of management, but the laziness of some tenants. I ignore this is light of all the good things. As a side note, I love mid century modern decor, and since this place was designed in the 70's, I have created an authentic 70's pad that I love. It's what you make of it."
