"I currently work in the Home Instead office as a scheduler a job I love. Before coming to the office I was a personal caregiver. I loved my job as a caregiver also but due to physical limitation I was given the opportunity to work in the office. I have always felt that the staff at Home Instead has been very understanding and worked with me to be able to keep my job there. I originally became a caregiver because I had a heart for working with the elderly. To be able to help them stay in their homes which they want and to be able to give them the care and support they need is very important to me. My husband and I moved my father-in-law in with us for the last 2 yrs. of his life a choice I'll always treasure. Home Instead offers this opportunity to many to be able to stay in there home. As for being a caregiver Home Instead offers many classes to further our learning to able to give our clients the care they need. They also have nurses and client care advocates on staff to help with any problems we may encounter. They also offer a very flexible schedule whether you want to work day, evening and even overnight shifts. So in summoning this up I would say that Home Instead is a great place to work a place you can grow and a very rewarding experience. I still like to get out of the office every once in a while to work with our clients who each have a wonderful life to share."
