The Lofts at Jubal Square 1864 Old Jube Square, Winchester, VA 22601

"Currently a resident here and we must have ZZ Top living above us because every night starting around 7:30 until 11pm, we have to sit in our expensive apartment and hear guitars, drumming, bass. I have brought this to their attntion by sending FIVE emails and haven’t gotten a response to one (3/12, 3/14, 3/17, 4/12, and 5/2). I pay $2000 a month to live inside a speaker it seems. Hopefully this will gather their attention. I would be happy to remove this review if something is actually done. Horrible horrible experience so far."

"Pretty bad and misleading experience with the leasing office. We applied for an apartment about 75 days in advance of our desired move in date. They told us they had availability, and that we would hear from them after paying $80 in application fees. We submitted an application and made the payment, but then never heard from them. I had to call multiple times to get in touch with a leasing agent, who informed me that they don't actually have availability. They also told me that if they were to have any availability, that we wouldn't be garunteed an apartment because their waiting list is so long. This application process feels misleading, and has me wondering how much money the management company makes off of application fees. I find this to be a dishonest business practice. How can you, in good faith, take money for applications you have no intention of actually fulfilling? If you know you don't have any apartments available, and know that there will not be any availability opening up in the near future, why are you still listing your apartments as available and charging people? And especially during a period of extreme housing demand and inflation. If this experience is indicative of what living at the Lofts at Jubal Square, I think I may have dodge a bullet. Exercise great caution while considering this location as a potential place to reside."

"Do not rent here! Great apartment and location but when it comes time to leave, you will be waiting 7+ months for your security deposit with 0 communication. Office hours between 10:00 - 10:15 AM it seems like. Still have not received a call back, response, or security deposit."

"I called to inquire about their apartments they had marked available. No one in the office ever got back to me. I called and left several messages on different days at different times. No one ever answered, nor did they call me back. I even tried to get a hold of them by filling out their contact form online. However, still no response. I don’t know how they treat their current residents. Hopefully better then they treat their potential residents! This is supposed to be a luxury apartment complex. You would have thought their customer service would be held at a higher standard. Oh well, guess I’ll take my money elsewhere."

"Friendly staff, beautiful setting and nice apartments! Quiet inside despite being so close to Jubal Early. Beautiful heated pool, nice clubhouse with pool table and lounge areas as well as a fully equipt gym and separate cardio room. I have great neighbors and am happy to call this home."
