Econo Lodge Wytheville I-77 & I-81

"We stayed here in Dec. for one night on our way to another location. The room was a bit worn but everything worked except the TV. Someone came promptly to re-program it. It was so refreshing to have everything in working order. The room was comfortable and we got a good night's sleep. Best of all, we felt safe. The parking lot was well lit. This appears to be a family run business and we felt welcomed here with our two dogs. We will definitely return on trips through Wytheville."

"If you want a place to get off the highway and sleep I would recommend this one. There's no pool or full breakfast but the staff is wonderful to me and they try hard to make your stay enjoyable."

"The motel itself isn't too bad for the price. You know how the old saying goes, "You get what you pay for." The rooms are standard motel rooms and there's a normal amount of wear and tear all around the property inside and out. Zdx The service could use some work. The staff and owners of the property aren't the friendliest people and need to brush up on their customer service skills. We stayed at this particular motel for several months, and sometimes it would take up to 4 or 5 days to get clean towels from the housekeeping staff. Some nights it was nearly impossible to find a member of the staff for the entire night."

"Could be great but needs a lot of work. Staff on check out hid in car so as not to come to unlock door. Sprayed entire room with lysol each day. Bought new towels rather than use theirs. Smelled of weed. Was told it was legal and staff could smoke behind the hotel."

"Pretty sure we had bed bugs in our room, and roaches were by the ice machine and one in the shower. Floor was sticky, we kept our shoes on, and the shower was so moldy we didn't use it. Arrived near midnight, exhausted after a full 14 hours drive time...should have listened to my instinct and kept driving. We were gone first thing in the morning."
