"I would give zero stars if that was a choice. We applied for services in Feb 2023. We have had no follow-up and multiple phone calls and emails have been ignored. I filed a complaint with the Director and still nothing. We did however receive a bill for the intake appointment. I have reached out to multiple organizations for assistance for my cousin that is learning disabled and they all give me the same answer. "Unfortunately you have to use Chesapeake Integrated Behavioral Health to apply for a Medicaid Waiver". I don't believe the people there don't care. I like to think they are simply under staffed. It's frustrating to see the reviews and know that NOTHING has been done to improve their services or efficiency."
"Destroyer of families. This place should be shut down nobody’s interested in doing their job. Whoever’s in charge has let the place become completely overrun by people that want to work from home or not work at all. If someone has THE most severe mental health problem that you can have, and a developmental disability and is UN medicated thanks to CIBH I am not quite sure how that person is supposed to be able to make all of their own decisions, schedule appointments etc. especially when they can’t even do things like remember to brush their teeth, take a shower, change their clothes, wash their clothes, etc.. like I said, destroyer of families, if you have any other options, run as fast as you can from this place."
"Marino falvo is very unprofessional as a licensed therapist do not trust her. She’s very condescending in her approach, she’s not attentive at all she is unconcerned. I told her I didn’t like her and she took it personally not professionally by sending a letter stating she didn’t see anything wrong with me but I’ve been seen by trained / licensed psychiatrist saying other for 15 plus years. I’m crazy not stupid! Remember the name not to be seen by (marina falfo)"
"My children and I absolutely adore everyone at CIBH! From the security guards, to front desk, to therapists and medication providers, everyone always greets us with a big smile and are incredibly understanding. I've had to cancel appointments at the last minute and they not only rescheduled right away, but showed genuine concern and kindness to our situation. With the therapists, each of my children see different therapists and it's like they were hand picked for my kids. They instantly clicked and my kids opened up so quickly. The therapists seemed to know right away which approach worked for them. The medication providers and nurses are equally amazing. They play around with my daughter, keep her involved in her care, and celebrate all of her victories with her. My daughter lost far too much weight due to her severe anxiety, and once we got the right meds and she started gaining, her med team had her beaming with pride with how much they praised her. I will always recommend CIBH and their overly amazing care team!"
"Being that I have worked In healthcare for 16 years at the #1 trauma center I have never experienced anything like this. From the time you walk in this place is so unprofessional. I under stand they have a lot of patients. However, the staff needs to understand these patients have mental health issues. The way I have seen this place talk to their patients has me lost for words. People need compassion even if they are in the wrong. This place needs to learn to think “outside the box” and learn how to to treat their patients. We are all human and no one is better then the other."
