Reviews
"Staff is very professional and friendly. I always have a great experience every time I visit this facility."
"The clinic itself is very convenient, and the front line folks are polite. That's the full extent of it, if you want to be able to reach your team or doctor you would be best served choosing one at the main hospital in Hampton and here is why. The clinic doctor and care teams can only be reached by message. The direct phone number to the clinic is the best kept secret since the location of Jimmy Hoffa's body. They either do not monitor, choose to not open, or just don't care to look at messages on a consistent basis. If you send a message requesting to see your doctor, they may or may not see it, if you request a refill renewal of your medication, you can not request it more than a 3 or 4 days prior to the refill date even though the VA specifically says to place all refill requests up to 2 weeks prior. I could change PCM's, (which is what I think my PCM is actually trying to get me to do by making it so painful to deal with him) but then I have to start the whole process all over again of my medications, my pain management and my referrals. When I transferred to this clinic and this doctor, everything I had done with my prior VA doctor had been undone and so I had to start from scratch. This is just not something I want to have to go through again because continuity of care is not the VA's strong suit. If you have a choice, choose a PCM at the Hampton facility because at least there, you can reach them by phone when you have an issue."
"My eye appointment was great, optometrist (Dr. T) was excellent. Very cordial and professional, makes me feel like hoth my service and sacrifice count for something. A wonderful experience at the facility."
"Np Jones use to be a decent person to care about her patients but in the past few yrs she doesn't give a care. She leaves me w/o my medication for months. She refuses to fill my blood pressure med for months. I'm usually out of it for 4 months before she fill it with one refill. She has the i dont care attitude and doesn't want to be bother. She has canceled my appts 3 times in a few week time an acts like oh who cares your not important. She needs to get out of the medical field. She tells me to just go to patient first or the hospital. The VA don't respond to you for weeks and then say oh well we don't see where you have ever been on any meds."
"Due to location & size alot more convenient for me. You don't need help or a map to find where you need to go. Waiting wasn't bad, perfect location for routine visits and blood work vs. traveling to larger facility in Hampton."
