"Billing department and insurance department do not talk to each other . They sent the bill to a collection department because the lady in the insurance department did not refile the insurance. Had to pay the automated system the full amount due to their mistake . Stay far away from this group . Save yourself some time and money and go to a different group of physicians."
"Saw Dr. Wilkinson~ patient intake was fast and easy, wait was very short, and my doctor listened and helped me immensely. Then when an insurance snafu happened they were quick to get it fixed and me with my meds. Best doctors office I’ve been to in ages. Yes they do take about 20 minutes to answer the phone though."
"Routinely the absolute worst experience. Leaving this practice, and here's why: -Appointments are booked out for MONTHS, even for issues like acute infections and medical tests. -Appointments are nearly always cancelled by text with no explanation and no re-booking. I've now had 4 cancellations in a row for a basic check-up and med check appointment. -Prescription refills are denied because the office has cancelled multiple appointments in a row or has changed their policy about how often you need certain tests. Getting birth control or mental health medications is basically impossible. -It takes an average of 30 minutes just to reach the receptionist by phone, regardless of the time of day when you call. -Nurses do not return calls the same day. You're lucky if you ever hear back again. -You are not permitted to change doctors if yours is routinely unavailable. -The Extended Care Clinic is the only way for immediate help, but requires hours of waiting time, and even when you finally speak to someone, they are so incompetent, that a doctor sent me home with emergent appendicitis. IS THIS EVEN A REAL DOCTORS OFFICE?"
"I have been a patient here since 6 years. It is going downhill....service, unavailability and wait times. But my last visit was the worst. Doctor Arpita was seeing me for my regular physical and she wanted me to do the cholestrol, sugar and thyroid test...they are covered in my regular yearly preventive care. For the next few weeks, i was unavailable to get the labs done, so i never got them done. However, she charged me for the visit. I called up the office and told them that my yearly visits should have been covered by the insurance, but they said that the code the doctor has used a different code and it is the charge for follow up visit. The code she had used is for discussing the health plan for a follow up visit and I told them several times and messaged the doctor in the portal that i had not made a follow up visit since i had never even got the labs done. But the doctor has never responded and sent the case to collection agency. I am going to change this practice now."
"My experience with the head nurse was terrible. I called asking for clarification on previous documentation and Nurse Tina, I believe that was her name, called me back with an attitude. As someone who gets anxiety when talking to others, she did not make it easy for me. I’m currently in nursing school and they teach us about compassion and empathy towards people because you’re working to CARE for other patients. This was not professional care. She gave me attitude, wasn’t cooperative with me, and in the end didn’t even do what I asked for. I thought she just had a bad day so I ignored it the first time and remained patient, but the next day, she called me with the same rude attitude. I would recommend this practice to remind their head nurse about how to care for patients."
