"I called this morning because I had some questions about sonograms for fertility monitering; the receptionist was rude, dismissive and w majot attitude when I called this morning. I thought I had reached a correctional facility and not a fertility clinic. Will take my business elsewhere!!"
"Update: I would love to give this feedback to Dr. Sarhan directly, but unfortunately I am unable, as she has not returned to the practice after her leave, and the clinic had no contact information to provide me. If you have a complex case, I would not recommend Dr. Sarhan. I had an idiopathic case of Asherman's syndrome, for which she sent me to a surgeon friend of hers. Unfortunately, the surgeon made a false tract during my hysteroscopy, but insisted that she had found my uterus, that it was abnormal, that I had no endometrium, and I would therefore never be able to carry a child. My menstrual history and ultrasounds did not support this finding, but Dr. Sarhan agreed with her surgeon friend and told me that gestational surrogacy was my shot at having a child. I got a second opinion with Dr. Robinson (the only surgeon you should go to if you have Asherman's in this area!), who was able to remove all of the scarring in my cervix and uterus. I then switched fertility clinics, did one round of IVF, and am now 15 weeks pregnant. As much as I liked Dr. Sarhan in the beginning, I was very disappointed that she did not think more critically about my case after the botched surgery. The surgeon's findings did not align with my medical history or the many ultrasounds that Dr. Sarhan herself had administered, which showed a clear (if thin) endometrial stripe. I spoke to several doctors who barely had to look at my medical records to tell me that that the surgeon had most likely made a false passage - her findings made no sense, and she had not been able to visualize the tubal ostia! I hope that in the future she will think twice about sending patients to Dr. Danilyants. She is welcome to contact me with any questions. Prior review: Dr. Sarhan always takes the time to explain all of my options. She always approaches my case individually and thoroughly answers all of my questions. The clinic is great - does a good job dealing with my insurance and there is never a wait time. My only complaint is that there should be a bulk parking deal, considering how often we fertility folks are there!"
"I am grateful for all the help I received from Dr. Sarhan, these past years. She has been wonderful, a great doctor and person! I highly recommend her."
"We are just starting out journey but they made such a great impression. Last year we went to another clinic and it was so cold and treated our experience like a business transaction. I’m so happy to start our journey with Columbia Fertility Associates"
