"$13 for no wait, fast cut for guys, ($8 for men) and $5 tip I added. This is probably the cheapest place yet with great results. All are nice here."
"Very hardworking students who always give great haircuts. Simply point the number on the picture chart for the style of hair you want. I've been coming back here every visit since it's such a great value for the unbeatable price ($8 for men, $15 for women)."
"There is a language barrier which is important when you’re giving direction on how you’d like your hair done. The owner and the students speak only another language to communicate with each other and at times the volume is very loud. They have no concept of customer service. They don’t care if you don’t come back, which I won’t. I’ve never been charged for trimming the bottom of my mustache to even it out in all of my life. The owner says that’s not true because she always charges. I’m quite confident I have a an excellent memory of my charges for a haircut. If I had been previously charged I wouldn’t have been back today. It’s a $6 charge and the owner missed a perfect chance to rectify it by clarifying her policy and making an exception this time. Instead she chose the loud belligerent way instead. I know she’s lost at least one customer."
"I suggest you bring a reference photo for your desired hairstyle and DON’T be shy to make comments during the visit. This will help the student who will be giving you the haircut. There is ALWAYS a professional teacher there to guide the student and make sure that you are happy. Reliable service for every visit and best pricing! It’s $8 for men’s haircut. Thank you."
"Should be ZERO stars. I have been to this business before, for myself. Today I returned for the third time in three weeks to set an appointment for my significant other. She has been interested in trying out the school as well. The two previous visits to schedule I was told I needed to come back another day to schedule, as they are booked full. Today, I requested when the next available appointment is because I was told AGAIN that there is nothing. Terrible customer service!!!!! I was told by Mia that the students just graduated so the schedule is very tight. Again, I asked when next available appt is... crickets. The stated owner, Kyong Sook Jang spoke with Mia in addressing, with no result. Owner called Janet Lee who told me that VA law does not allow women to cut womens hair as barbers, only if they have a master barbers license. I find that unbelievable and discriminatory. A couple of the female barbers/students (?) Were injecting themselves inappropriately and rudely into my conversations. CJ Hair School at Fairfax Circle should be avaoided at all cost. Horrible and appalling disregard of any concept of customer service. I will be filing complaints with Fairfax County and others. Stay away!!!!!"
