"We love the convenience of scheduling, and the facility is nice for us. Teachers are hit or miss - we've had a few that knock it out of the park with how amazing they are (Gabriella, Melanie), and a few that made my daughter cry with how visibly bored and annoyed they were (Sade). So it's a bit of a gamble, but if you find a good teacher, they're great and no complaints!"
"We have been going to Big Blue Swim School in Chantilly for two years. The facility and staff are amazing! CJ, my daughter’s (3 years old) teacher is so animated and knows how to engage the kids. He makes swim so much fun and skillfully helping her to master essential skills like magic!"
"Good morning. We would like to give u the feedback. We have been enrolling our 2 kids with u over a year now. We have been struggling with your system about substitute instructors with short notice. When we choose the class, we choose the instructor wisely. Our kids' class got substitute instructors over 2 weeks without notice or short notice. This will not be a problem if your instructors are the same standard. But some of your instructors are not doing as instructors. They are more like babysitting in the pool. Once we reach out that we would like to stop the class. It ends up that we have to give u notice 30 days ahead. If u want to do this policy, then u should do the same when u have to switch or change instructors. This is unfair for your customers. Ps. We did contact BB Chantilly but still haven't heard anything back. They said they will let the management call us back but still no call."
"Overall facility was nice, however after my son went here for his first visit - he didn’t want to go back. It was his first lesson and they had him jump in the water immediately. Normally, you have first time kids slowly integrate into the water. As soon as my son went in the pool underwater - he was terrified. He wanted to come out and was crying - to which I was told is “normal” and if I took him out then he wouldn’t want to go back in. Well - it’s not normal. Haven’t been back since. Whoever his instructor was needs more training on how to instruct first time kids. It took MONTHS for my child to get back in the water. Note - this was a year ago not sure if the same instructor is still there"
"I have been there for my son’s class and it was our first day and I was able to walk around and check everything out. We liked the class and the coach overall and goals set for my son’s age. However, the cleanness of this location does not meet expectations. We have been with other school for 3 years and automatically comparison happens on mind. The other thing it would be great if there is trash cans all around not just in the bathroom. And of-course driers and cleanness of changing room/bathrooms overall. It would be great if staff pays more attention to it since a lot of kids around. Overall great experience!"
