"If I could give negative stars, I would. on 1/20/24 this "urgent care" refused to suture a deep cut on my face, even though they advertise stitches. Since no one answered the phone after repeatedly trying to call, I was driven there just to be turned away. I had to go to hospital ER instead, another 20 minutes away. The doc there said MedExpress probably was afraid of litigation for scarring. No doubt. I thought they could handle removing the stitches though. Nope. VINCENZINA DROSKY, PA, refused any numbing to the injury to remove the sutures without pain, and scoffed at my asking for it. She did not use a light to see the stitches well. Did not have gauze in hand to attend the bleeding she created. Did not apply any antiseptic before or after. A day after this "removal" I found she had left two sutures in my lip and I had to pull them myself. This is the only urgent medical care in this part of town, and I will never go there again."
"My experience with the nurse and doctor were very pleasant and professional for my CDL physical. I did have 2 issues. I called to get the hours of when the CDL physicals would be conducted. I was told the times but not the fact that I had to have an appt. I arrived the next day and was told they were all booked and no openings until 10:30 the next day, requiring me to leave work a 2nd time. The doctor asked for a statement from my pc doctor. My GP doctor wanted the name of the CDL doctor to address the letter too for privacy. I called back in and the lady answering the phone refused to give me the doctors name. Just told me they don’t do that. My GP doctors nurse then called in and got the same response. I felt this was somewhat unprofessional."
"Never knew you had to have an appointment for an urgent care facility. They have a sign that says Walk In but when I did they asked if I booked an online appt. and when I said No I was told they were booked for the rest of the day! This was before 3pm. There were 2 people in the waiting room!!! What gives??"
"It was so convenient to book a virtual visit. The staff were all very polite, helpful, and professional. Only issue was we couldn't hear the doctor during the video call, but she kindly talked to us through the chat feature. Thanks for getting the prescription in so fast as well!"
"I do not recommend this facility. It's called Medexpress, yet they only do by appointments, and if you make an appointment you still sit in the waiting room 2hrs after your scheduled appointment. I was even at the facility 30 minutes before my appointment to check in. I spent a total of 3 and a half hours in a facility I was forced to make an appointment for. I should have just gone to the ER, I would have sat just as long or shorter time. If you need medical attention, I recommend going to the ER or another urgent care facility."
