"The doctors I've had at UVa's Endocrinology clinic have all been great! The registration folks downstairs, however, always seem like they're having a bad day and are hell-bent on taking it out on patients. I have a somewhat rare autoimmune disorder, and all of the doctors have been knowledgeable about my condition and have helped me manage it well. 5 stars for the Endocrinology Team...1 star for the registration staff."

"My daughter was referred to Dr. Lundgren for suspected thyroid issues. Dr. Lundgren spent approximately 20 minutes with us, and we left feeling discouraged and without direction. We just received a $345 bill for this visit. I called UVA & was told it was an office visit charge. What an exorbitant fee for a 20 min consult when she basically told us she didn’t know what was going on. She had no bloodwork- it was just a consultation. UVA was not helpful at all when I called to try to understand these charges. Incredibly disappointing."

"Dr Lundgren has messed with my mental health by not respecting my family’s decision to decline big pharma medicine. I invited her to get a translator and call my mom and she instead called social services to come by my house. She has to respect the law and documents like the power of attorney. No medical degree has monopoly on knowledge. No on should be shamed for deciding on a different treatment plan or wanting a second opinion. Especially if the doctor fails to send lab results. The proof is in the pudding."

"Had to cancel an appointment last year due to a family death and another devastating family health crisis at the same time. Tried to make this year’s appointment to be told waitlist is 3+ months. I was given an appointment for Thanksgiving Week. I called today to reschedule that appointment and am told I can now wait until Feb/March. They do NOT prioritize their patients, they have no empathy (was told due to my previous cancellation and my rescheduling this year) they will be unable to make me an appointment at all. Do NOT got here if you want quality healthcare. There are plenty of better endocrinology clinics with more caring doctors. Would give them a ‘Zero Star’ review if I could."
