"My wife and I spent over an hour waiting to be seen, despite her having already filled out the bulk of the required paperwork. No one came to check in on us, much less inform us that there might be an extended delay. It was only when we got up to leave and inform the reception desk, that miraculously the doctor was then allegedly ready to see her. Our advice - space out the appointments. It is all well and fine for a doctor to spend longer periods of time with a patient. In fact, that should be encouraged. The solution, however, is to then space out the bookings, so that everyone can receive their due time and attention without needing to wait that much longer."
"You can't ask for a more dedicated physician. I have complicated allergy/asthma/immune issues and Dr. Madaan is the only provider that has made sense of it all. He did the thorough testing to discover the root cause of the many symptoms I was experiencing. No one else dug deep and put the pieces together. Other reviews mention long wait times - yes, I have waited over 2 hours for an appointment. And I would do so every single time I have an appointment if I needed to. It's because they are trying to provide care to as many people as need them in a day and they aren't going to short change someone else's appointment because you are still waiting. And when you are the patient that is going to get their schedule behind, they aren't going to short change you either. On numerous occasions, I've heard Dr. Madaan tell his staff to schedule someone during his lunch break because they need to be seen. He sacrifices his own health to care for the health of others. Complaints about large bills - healthcare providers have no control over your insurance plan. It is impossible to keep up with the benefits all the different plans have to know what might be covered and what might not be covered for you. It is your responsibility to discuss that with your insurance plan. Are there going to be procedures your insurance doesn't cover? Maybe. Do you want your doctor to do everything they can to get you healthy? If so, then accept that you will have out-of-pocket costs to do so. Blame the insurance company for these expenses. Every form I've ever signed alerts me that I am having procedures done that might be at my own cost. I still choose to do them, but you can decline until you speak with your insurance company to see if it is covered in your plan. As a healthcare provider myself, I see and deal with all of these issues at my own office every day and it is overwhelming to try to provide patient care and manage the admin issues. None of us became doctors wanting to be kept on hold with an insurance company for hours or having to spend our personal time at the end of a day filling out forms for insurance companies. But that is what we have to do after a full day of patient care. Thank you all at Charlottesville Allergy and Respiratory Enterprises. I appreciate you so very much!"
"I've been to a bunch of different allergists, this is by far the best I've been to. Very professional and friendly operation. The doctor is great, the front office is great. I came to them in a pretty inconvenient situation between allergy doctors, and every step of the way they perfectly addressed my needs and did so easily and conveniently. Can't recommend them enough every aspect of their service and operation was fantastic for me"
"My son was treated by Dr.Madaan. There was a wait but he spent as much time with my son as he did the other patients. He was very respectful, and made sure we understood everything he was explaining. Him and staff were very friendly, answered all questions we had and made our experince very enjoyable."
"My wife has been working with Dr. Madaan for a while now and has had a great experience until today. We went in for her to receive the first of her allergy shots but were kicked out by an assistant for not having masks. My wife has been there several times before and never once was she asked to wear one or anyone for that matter. This lady clearly had issues that she was dealing with but kept lying saying it's the law when there is no such thing. Both my wife an I work for an MD so we are well aware of the medical field so we knew this woman was lying. After all the work that my wife has put in with them on this day we are kicked out and told they will no longer offer her the shots to her. No medical professional should treat patients in this manner and refuse treatment especially over something to be confirmed by the CDC as ineffective. We will be taking legal action against this office. My suggestion is look for a Dr. who truly cares about the well being of their patients."
