"Cataract identified by Dr Seiger and moved to the see Surgeon that same appointment. No push to immediately have surgery. Great service!"
"I called in needing to make an appointment bc my 2 YO was complaining of eye pain. They got us in in two days and he saw Dr Saeger. She was SO good with him and the eye exam went amazingly well. I would highly recommend her to anyone with young kids! As other reviewers have mentioned, there may be a long wait and the furnishings are sparse. Bring your own snacks, toys, tablet etc to entertain your LO while there."
"Ended up walking out. They try and cram to many patients in for 1 Dr to see. I waited 1 1/2 hrs and finally walked out!! The Dr does not do the exams, they have these young girls that look like their just out of high school doing the exam, they dilated my eyes and shoved me into a smaller waiting room till the room was full. At that time which was 45 min later they started calling patients to see the Dr. When I got there, there was 1 apt ahead of mine and when complained they said oh you're next...you're #2 and put me in another room for me to continue to wait. What was this Dr doing all this time, I was the 2nd apt after their lunch so why was I waiting. The girls do the examination so what was he doing. I spoke to someone who had an apt just the week pior and she said she was in there for 3 hrs waiting and when she complained they did the same thing to her by putting her in a examination room to wait. She said she waited another 1/2 hr in that room waiting for the Dr. Every other time Ive gone for a eye exam the Dr did the exam and I was in and out within an hour and that's with me ordering lenses. I dare them to charge my Ins. For that visit. I DID NOT SEE A DR. and I feel I should charge them for my time. I will be filing a complaint with Valley Health"
"My daughter has been going in to see Dr. Keenan for several years to correct her vision. He has always been great with her, but he did write her an incorrect Perscription, with zero correction in the lenses. My daughter had the lenses for six months before the error was caught. Valley Eye Specialists assured us that all associated costs, including the new lenses and visit, would be covered by them. They were not. At all. At each and every turn the office would send our calls to voicemail for people out of the office (particularly Sarah) or hang up when trying to get them to provide payment for my daughter’s lenses, or even just their email address so they could be invoiced. We are going on two months now and the new glasses still haven’t been paid for. Avoid this office at all costs to avoid the head and heart arches my family has been dealing with."
"I have taken several of my kids here over the past couple years. Everyone has always been very nice, Dr. Seager is absolutely wonderful and we haven't really had any issues except the wait time. We usually spend about 3 hours there, 95% of that in the waiting room. That can be difficult with kids, especially toddlers. There is absolutely zero entertainment in the waiting room other than a single TV, can't even really play "I spy" because pretty much everything is gray and the windows just have an equally gray view of the roof next door. I understand in the age of Covid they can't exactly put out stuff for multiple kids to be playing with throughout the day, just saying plan ahead. Not a bad place but definitely don't make plans for several hours after your appointment and if you have kids bring something (or multiple things preferably) to entertain them or it's going to be a bad day."
