"I scheduled an appointment for my daughter. We get to the office and get checked in. Then they are taking people that "walked in" before the person that has an appointment. After waiting for 45 minutes past her scheduled time, I asked the lady at the front desk what was going on for her to tell me that 1. the appointment time, is not an "appointment" but a secured spot that you would be seen that day & 2. my daughter would be triaged next, but wasn't sure how much longer once we got to the back she would be seen. Why make an appointment if you can't keep the appointment? SO FRUSTRATING!"

"Visited recently for an appointment and received excellent care. The staff was very kind and attentive, the doctor listened well and didn't rush me out the door. They were a bit low on staff the day I visited, so it was a bit slow to be seen even with an appointment, but otherwise no complaints!"

"The Front Office staff was very welcoming and polite. The Clinical staff was very proficient and friendly. NP Sara was extremely nice and compassionate. I felt very much at ease and cared about from start to finish. The only negative was the waiting room was very hot. I would highly recommend this Urgent Care."

"I had moved to Virginia about a year ago. I left all my doctors I have had all my life. I had tried to find a doctor and no one is taking new patients so I had to start going to urgent care. I have a family of five that moved with me and we are always at the doctors. After going to about seven different urgent cares throughout the year I found a MedExpress on Gateway Drive. I called for an appointment because I couldn’t figure out how to do it online. They took care of me right away and were extremely kind. I needed physicals for my children for sports. They help me fill out all the paperwork and were very helpful and efficient. I am super picky about my family’s care and between the receptionist, the nurse and the doctor I have not found a better group then I have at MedExpress. I also didn’t have to wait 4 hours to be seen! Thank You for everything!!!! If anyone is looking for an amazing urgent care to go to. This is the place to go!!!! I’m glad I found someplace that will take care of me and my family."

"I went here for a physical last week and it was fine until the very end. The doctor was walking me and my friend out when he turned around to me, got very close to my face, and said very quietly "Everything is fine, except for your weight." He was very smiley about it. I feel it was completely unprofessional to go about something like that. I'm only 18, this is my first time ever going to an appointment without my parents around. This was the first appointment I had ever made on my own. I feel disrespected not only as a client but as a person. My weight has had no effect on how healthy I am. I hope anyone reading this is aware of how damaging it can be to go to your first appointment by yourself and be treated like this. Please be aware of how they treat plus size people here."
