"My wife has been a Cardiovascular Associates (CVA) which is now part of the Bayview Physicians Group, patient for years. On Wednesday morning she was transported by ambulance to a Virginia Beach Hospital with chest pains. She spent the rest of Wednesday in the emergency room and was admitted to the hospital on Thursday for further evaluation and testing and was released 4 days later. During that time no-one I repeat no-one from this group saw her or made any attempt to contact her or family or to determine her condition or prognosis! Admitted for chest pains but her long term cardiology practice shows no interest even though their Old Donation office is located only a couple of blocks from the hospital? Too busy? Not their Job? The hospital recommended several significant changes to her medications and recommended she contact her Primary Care provider (NOT Cardiovascular Associates) to monitor her condition and make adjustments as necessary. It appears CVA is a business primarily limited to providing prescription refills by phone."
