"Our room was really big and it was recently renewed. The room and bathroom were clean. The breakfast was so good and delicious with a great option of foods. Our room was 307 and we were there in 12/25/23."

"Overall, good experience. One thing was the smell, the rooms smelled funky. I stayed here 4 nights and I had to move rooms because the rooms smelt off! Everything else was fine."

"We stayed one night with our dog on our way to North Carolina. The room was large and clean. The breakfast was good with hot and cold foods. There was a large area for the dogs. I wish the poo bag dispensers were filled. We always bring some with us, but obviously, not all dog owners do."

"Clean, quiet, reasonably priced hotel close to VMI and Washington and Lee. The front desk folks were super nice and helpful. Prices do fluctuate based on VA horse center and local college events, so book out if you’re able. The breakfast was just okay…the potatoes were borderline raw (seemed to be frozen potatoes that they microwaved in the back) and the gravy was cold. They do have a make your own waffle station, and the waffles were okay but bland. I pretty much stuck to fruit, yogurt, and coffee. Bit of advice, if you don’t want your room to be on the interstate side, request an odd numbered room when you check in. They face the parking lot and are quiet, and give you the opportunity to view your vehicle."

"My husband and I stopped here in the middle of our road trip. Pros: The gentleman at the front desk was lovely. Linens were soft and the beds weren’t uncomfortable. We did not have breakfast, so have no opinion. Close to the interstate, which is what we needed. Cons: The hotel itself is dirty and old. Our room was loud, we were on the end towards I-81. You could hear people walking, shutting their doors, and trucks go by. It felt icky and I knew why when I looked at my socks the next day… they were brown from the carpet that was obviously not up-kept.The door to our room looked very beat up and had parts cracked where the lock was, which was slightly alarming. The actual interior of the hotel appeared dirty and was. Our card to our room would take about 3 times to actually register. I wouldn’t stay here again but it did the job."
