The Jeff Hotel

"OMG. I LOVE this place. Clean, modern, quiet, GORGEOUS BATHROOMS. Can comment on every single room, because we booked them all haha. **PARKING** Those familiar with Cville will have no issue, though out-of-towners may need assistance. There is a garage behind the Jeff (if you're looking at The Jeff from the mall, there's a side street/alley to the left, go straight down that alley, you'll pass jack brown's burger joint on your right and a piano keys mural on the left - you'll see a pay lot in front of you; take the crosswalk over Water Street, and the garage entrance is right there on your left. The hotel leaves a parking validation tag in the room for you - super easy! I grew up in Charlottesville, and have seen hundreds of shows at the Jefferson, but never had a reason to stay on the mall until my husband and I picked The Jeff as our getting ready location and booked it out for our bridal party for our wedding in November! The photo attached of sitting by the window/having makeup done is in the seating area of room 204 (the largest suite - sleeps 4). The hallway pic is the 2nd floor hallway, SO FUN. And the third interior pic is room 203 (It sleeps 3). Suit 201 feels just as big as 204, but with a different floorplan. The 300 rooms are smaller, efficiency rooms, but they're just as cute as the 2nd floor! We were able to spread 9 girls, 4 artists, a baby, and a mother of the bride between 203 and 204 for getting ready the morning of the wedding. The bathroom in 204 is MASSIVE , I will update with a pic of it because I know I have one somewhere - huge walk in shower, tons of natural light. The room was shockingly quiet as well. I stayed there Friday and Saturday night, and people watched a bit on Friday. You could see the lively night life happening below, but the sound proofing is awesome. (There was also a concert that night that you couldn't hear AT ALL). I highly recommend The Jeff for anyone visiting Cville that want a fun vibe, and a great walkable location! We will certainly stay here again given the chance!!! (The two external pics are RIGHT in front of the hotel - entrance is the glass area on the left). "Super cool boutique hotel in the heart of Charlottesville’s downtown mall that allows a pet to stay too! Major bonus points for that. Kind of reminded me of something you’d find is Europe or NYC! We were only in town for the night, so we got a studio room on the third floor with a king size bed and decent sized bathroom. Everything was very clean and very comfy. Also, not mad at the Nespresso machine, complementary parking in the Water Street parking garage, & big TV on the wall. We had everything we needed and more for a one night stay. Highly recommend!"
