"Clean. Quiet. Breakfast wasn't quite ready at 6am as described. Front desk clerk on 2nd shift was great, but the morning one at 6am had gone off in the room behind the desk where I could see him on his phone when I went to check out. He never came up to the desk, so i just left. Parking seems safe. There's plenty of lights outside. All in all it wasn't a bad stay at all."

"This is a great Fairfield Inn and my favorite place to stay in the area. The staff is consistently welcoming no matter the hour and recognizes Marriott status well. Our recent stay was due to poor weather -- we stopped while traveling as conditions deteriorated on I-64 (snow). We were delighted to find a 24/7 cocoa bar in the lobby here as a seasonal January treat. It strikes us that this staff really cares."

"Great location and price. Like the lay-out of the room and sitting room. Smaller rooms than other Marriott properties, but very clean and nicely furnished. Room includes a mini-fridge and microwave."

"The hotel is old and needs to be updated badly. The tv has very limited stations. The closed caption did not work and made watching tv extremely difficult for my 84 year old mom. The tv doesn't have a guide function, and it took a while for the staff to locate a paper listing - many of the stations did not work. The room only offers regular plugs for charging your devices. There aren't any USB plugs in the room. The location was fantastic. There is a grocery store (Food Lion) right next door. Easy entrance from the main highway. It makes a great home base for winery hoping. The breakfast was good. They offer several types of bread, oatmeal, milk, yogurt, and an egg dish. They also have self-service, fresh, made waffles. The breakfast area offers regular plugs for your devices - no USB plugs are available. They also have a self-service washer and dryer available. They do accept pets. I don't know what the fee is for pets. The pool is outdoors and was closed for the season, so we were not able to use it. There is a Sam's Club about 3 miles north of the hotel and a Costco about 2 miles south of the hotel. There is a large variety of restaurants nearby and easy to locate."
