Staybridge Suites Charlottesville Airport, an IHG Hotel

"Stayed for three nights. Breakfast was late every day and pretty bad. Not one housekeeper brought me fresh towels. The building itself is nice, but the staff seem like homeless people just hanging out and not doing a thing."

"I made my reservation two weeks prior to arrival. I checked in online the day before my arrival. And then when I arrived they told me "There was a glitch in the system" and no longer had a room for me. The person at the front desk that evening was rude and inconsiderate at the get go. She said that they had called me to tell me about the problem but hadn't been able to reach me. I had been driving (nearly 5 hours) and did not pick up the phone to get their call (which was 450pm on the day of my arrival). I was understandably upset and yes, I raised my voice at her, but then she threatened to "call the law" on me. There was another family who was faced with the same horrible customer service. We will never recommend this hotel or ever stay here when we return to Charlottesville."

"Ummm ... no. The first room had not been cleaned ... hair in the shower, the prior guest's clothes were still in the closet, and the soap dispensers were empty. Second room had no wifi or tv. Like . Wth?"

"We stayed here for 4 nights and felt at home. Rooms are spacious. Breakfast is good here. They also have an ATM machine and vending machine with food, beer and soft drinks inside. They also have free laundry and dryer! If you need detergent you can get it from vending machine area and pay by card or cash. The reception folks are helpful and understanding. We generally had our lunch and dinner outside. You can see the mountains and get a peek of the town from here. Charlottesville sadly does not have enough walking space and is more car friendly so at times for a distance of less than a mile we had to book Uber. An Uber driver also had lyft so I guess that works here too. The environment in hotel is clean and the hotel areas and rooms are clean in general."

"We had an amazing experience at this location. First impressions are so important and the gentleman that checked us in was super friendly and genuine. The breakfast buffet was absolutely delicious and the gentleman that runs that area is very helpful and hilarious. The room was clean and comfortable. We will definitely stay at this property again. Thank you!"
