"Tuckaway has it going on ! their team is on the ball, welcoming and super efficient. shout outs to the director, Miss Ashley for being extra sharp; coming from a strong Tuckaway background, not only did she have her kids currently enrolled themselves, as a mother - she has a keen sense of you and your children’s needs. One more shout out to my son’s teachers Miss Stephanie, Miss Taylor and Miss Diane – these dear ladies (and the rest of their staff) do the MOST to ensure your kiddo’s educational and socialization needs are met, plus they truly strive to make their experience the best possible how they get my preschooler, and the entire class, to nap is beyond me - must be magic ! also loving how the classes are organized, top to bottom and in/out - what I mean is, you can visibly see thru the wide open window panes into every class it’s great to be able to see what’s going on not to mention, their outdoor play area is top notch. Not only do they have several playgrounds for your little one’s particular age group, there’s a POOL for the summer. there are bicycles, tricycles galore plus picnic tables for the kiddos to enjoy snacks on fair weather days they serve morning snack, lunch and afternoon snacks – let me tell you, they eat AMAZING. half the time upon entering, you are welcomed by the scent of bacon feels great to know my little one is in such good hands at such a neat and totally well put together facility"

"Your Employee Abbigal Royster was extremely concerning to both my partner and I. She was using the R slur as a insult and promoting the confederate flag. As a child development facility I am very concerned on the type of environment that she is creating. I urge you to take action."

"My son has been full-time at Tuckaway since Jan 2019. It’s clear that his teachers love him as if he was their own. He has flourished both socially and academically since he started there. There is a perfect balance of open play, learning and reading. The student population is diverse, both ethnically and economically (which was very important to us when selecting a pre-school.) We love being able to pay online and we get daily updates on what the kids are learning. We are sending our newborn baby there once he is old enough. So happy to be part of this family and we plan to send our kids to Tuckaway until 1st grade."

"Childcare is awesome. However the lack of professionalism when it comes to book keeping is awful. I have been trying to get a billing issue resolved for months now. No one seems to care and I have been getting lied to over and over again. Not to mention the corporate office that oversees the billing never picks up the phone and ALL voicemail boxes are full. I have been significantly overcharged by double the amount owed. I was charged for atleast three weeks my child was not in attendance after being told she could not come back until the balance was paid down. I understand that this is a business however it should be conducted that way on both ends. (As a business but as well as how you treat your customers)"

"The staff at Tuckaway Varina have been exceptional! Stacy and Ashley are such a pleasure to deal with each day. Each day when you walk in you are greeted with smiling happy faces. I just love that! I am so glad that Varina has a daycare center that provides so much for my two little ones. One is still there all day and is learning everything she needs to prepare for Kindergarten and 6 year old loves being able to play basketball even if it is raining on the inside court. Summertime they offer swim lessons at the pool on the property. They do field trips, the fun bus, dance lessons, soccer, computer training and so much more. I am also impressed with my 4 year olds lead teacher and her compassion she shows to her. She is very loving and offers lots of hugs when needed to my child, but also holds her accountable for her actions when she needs to be. She just loves "Ms. Amanda" Tuckaway is so much more than a babysitting service. They are a place to find peace for us working parents. Lots of love for those kids at Tuckaway by a WONDERFUL STAFF!!
