"Staff had warm greetings. Check in and check out was easy. Making the reservation was simple same the person was so helpful. Breakfast staff greeted and friendly chatter as if we were home. Great start to a morning!!"

"So I love dogs. Dogs are great. Dogs are not fun to hear barking ALL night. At full volume, constantly, and especially at five am. I talked to the front desk twice and both times they called a number that no one answered. The gentleman that owned the dogs was in the room, so why they didn’t put more effort to get in touch with him was beyond me? The front desk did nothing to help, until when we were checking out an absolutely LOVELY woman took my name and number down to send to the GM. She knew exactly what room I was referring to when we told her about the dogs, so I’m positive this isn’t a new occurrence. Unfortunately we haven’t heard anything back since. They should automatically be giving people compensation for that room upon check in, in my opinion."

"Traveling with kids. The rooms are sufficient, but I wouldn't have been happy with the size if we were staying longer than 3-4 days. Definitely book a suite if you're traveling with 4 people. Unfortunately we are traveling right at the end of a very busy time for the local college, so almost every hotel in Harrisonburg was completely booked. We tried to check in at 1:30p and were told the earliest they'd have a room available was 3p since every room in the building needed to be turned over. Not exactly what you want to hear after driving 1000 miles nonstop. Fortunately we were able to get into a room an hour later. It does look like turn over was rushed. Overall it is adequate for our needs."

"I had a very pleasant stay at this place while I was driving home from a long road trip. The place is clean and welcoming. The room was quite spacious, comfortable, and very clean. Their breakfast is good. The location is also excellent. The only reason I gave it four stars is because the check in process took forever! The staff member who checked me in, while very nice, she was new on the job and seemed clueless for the most part. I recommend that management don't let people start the job until they are fully ready and comfortable doing it. New employees' learning curve shouldn't be at the expense of guests' time and comfort. Still, I highly recommend this place."
