"Referred by a former business associate. I called 03/13/2023 to inquire about having a L-shaped breakfast nook made. I was given their email address and told I could send dimensions and pictures of what I had in mind so I did that the same day. I didn't get a response so on 03/20/2023 I phoned them again to make sure I had sent everything to the correct address. They confirmed that they received it but didn't offer me any information about when to expect a response. I told them I would like to move quickly with this project and to please let me know sooner rather than later so I can move forward with an alternative if it's not something they can or want to deal with. It's now 04/06/2023 and I've still never heard from them. If you're too busy or uninterested in the project, the respectful and professional thing to do is simply communicate that to people and not leave them hanging. If it's going to be a month, or even a few, then just say so. I try to shop local when possible but with customer service and communication being non existent like this, it makes it difficult to do so. At this point I don't even know if they were going to take the build request, let alone when it would be completed. No communication on their end. I ended up getting someone else to make it, who was interested and willing, and they delivered it this past week with no issues. I give superior customer service to my clients and I guess I must expect too much by thinking all other businesses will do the same. My mistake."
