"Shop here all the time as it is the only grocery store in Montross VA but I do not recommend ever purchasing the gallon bucket of food lion brand chocolate ice cream. Obviously it has thawed and refrozen. I've been duped twice but not again. Come on Wal Mart can't you build a store in Montross VA???"
"Great Italian sub (inexpensive). Needed a quick lunch on the road. The nearby restaurants cost more than I wanted for the situation (no nearby fast food restaurants)."
"Shop here weekly. Prices are average. Staff is always super friendly and helpful. Just last week I had a thirty minute conversation by the milk with a manager, no specific agenda, just friendly workers. I do wish they would carry a better variety of things. For some items I have to drive 40+ miles to a competitor to get the things I use weekly. Also, I’ve had to come in a few times, a few days in a row checking stock on items I need. Other than not always having in stock the items I use, this store is very good."
