"I purchased a 1998 Heritage Softail Springer from Customer #12048, and had it shipped to New Hampshire. This bike has been exclusively maintained and recently "gone through" by Bull Run Harley-Davidson. Upon receipt, it took numerous attempts to start, and it wouldn't run. I trailered it to my Technician's shop. When he attempted to start it, it banged and clanked. Clearly, something was wrong. We looked the entire bike over and found reprehensible service work. The work order showed a new starter. Unfortunately, the Bull Run "Technician" failed to look any further than his Troubleshooting Guide, and simply replaced the starter. Had he looked, he would have noticed issues with the starter clutch and ring gear. I had to pay to have everything down to the clutch basket replaced. The headlight was on upside down. When my Technician removed the headlight to install it correctly, he noticed new wiring; all yellow in color. The rear turn signals didn't work. Upon removal of the seat, my Technician discovered a rat's nest of taped wires; all yellow in color, crudely taped on both sides of the connectors. I paid for new, correctly colored, proper wiring. The handlebars were loose. The work order stated that the riser studs and bushings were replaced. Removal of those riser studs and bushings determined that was false. I paid for new Springer riser studs and polyurethane bushings. The tires were new, but installed backwards. The carburetor had been adjusted by a Bull Run Technician, and was dumping fuel. I had to spend thousands after their Service Department had "made repairs". Their customer paid top dollar for reprehensible work, and likely sold the bike out of frustration... passing the issues along to me. NO Dealership with a conscience or care would have EVER put a job like that in the hands of a consumer. There's a reason they're referred to as a Stealership."

"Dropped off my bike for the 1k service last night and it was done the next day. I think my bike looked better after picking it up than when it was left. Seems like great service so far. From the purchase in June with Phil, to special orders in the parts department and my first HD service. I've been riding over 40 years, but this is my first Harley, and so far I have been super happy. I feel like Bronson every time I get on it!! Wish I would have made the move 20 years ago! I did forget to ask about military discount which is my mistake! Thank you Bull Run Harley!"
